Thats okay, don't really care about sales that much. Lana's next album might be a BTD (IN Sales), epic album..

you never know in the music business..

think Halsey did 115K? on the Badlands debut.. probably doubles by now.. the album is awesome..

but so is Honeymoon in my opinion..just slower awesome.

I know I haven't posted here in very long but I actually love the new album! More than UV for sure, I've been listening to it like every day  Salvatore & Blackest Day are just so beautiful but the whole album has such an amazing mood, I'm hooked.

I was really hoping Lana would do something with Honeymoon like Tori Amos did with From the Choirgirl Hotel. Tori made all of the songs "live" and check into the "hotel." After the hotline, I thought Lana would do something similar, and all of the HM songs would live somewhere in CA. Oh well

Well, the concept behind Tori's record is that all the songs live in that hotel, like female characters, see this picture from 1998 

 

To compare Tori during her peak and Lana is not really fair. Tori was really good back then, she sucks for over a decade now, though. Artistically, she was on a whole nother level than Lana. However, the only downside with this album is that when it comes to lyrics UV had more interesting takes than HM. Especially songs that didn't quite make the record like Flipside and Is This Happiness. And the latter could have easily been an old Tori Amos song, let's be honest.

I feel so bad for being bored to tears. Lana just got her record out, it's in my opinion the best she's done, I've met her, she's doing mad promo, but still, I'm bored. the album isn't really doing well on Spotify. But what really matters is longevity - UV was number 1# and see what happened. Let's hope she continues to release videos to increase the sales ( not that I care about sales  )

I'm weird. I think it's because I was SO excited and looking forward and it was all so unexpected and better than I thought that I'm just having the low after the high. I'm really depressed too. I'm still excited about MTWBT video but idk with her sales dropping and all, I have this super nasty feeling that the era is fading away. Blah I won't post anymore
