whitman 1,286 Posted September 23, 2015 The imagery of this album is really strong and vivid like we can almost picture what she sings in each song ( who haven't listened to Salvatore and thought about going to italy to eat soft cream with your foreign lover? ). So what are your videos ideas for this new era? Or what do you imagine when listening to a certain song of the album?
GangstaBoy 3,930 Posted September 23, 2015 I love this! I should be studying but nvm Honeymoon: I had this idea of a black and white video of Lana dressed as a bride by some Italian coast holding a bouquet of white flowers (not like the UV video, something more ethereal) Also scenes on a cruise ship with her lover but we never see the man's face at all (his face is always covered/darkened) and for the final chorus and outro a burst of colour and scenes of Lana and her man (sounds silly but it works video-wise) playing hide and seek among huge flowery trees in an old Italian hotel. GKIT: An old Vegas hotel, full of neon lights. Lana lies in bed with the TV on. During the chorus rays of coloured light enter thorugh the windows and light the room. Nothing else. Salvatore: video takes place in an old Italian villa, Lana looks like the L'uomo photo shoot and she's married to this maffiosi gangster (who's kinda old but hawt) most of the video consists of Lana eating soft ice cream on a huge balcony. Lots of everyday type of scenes between the two of them. Somehow Lana murders the man. During the bridge she's standing by the corpse but we don't see the dead man. Slowly the camera pans out to reveal the man lying dead by her side. For the final chorus I picture Lana being escorted by the police looking glamourous af

GangstaBoy 3,930 Posted September 23, 2015 I like your ideas, the last one though reminds me of this https://youtu.be/d2smz_1L2_0?t=6m29s I knew someone would point that out I had an alternate ending ready just in case. Lana goes out on the balcony and starts screaming for help, pretending someone killed her husband. She plays the victim and attends the funeral in a huge black gown and black sunglasses. (In order for this to work Lana should be able to act but oh well )
PARADIXO 32,955 Posted September 23, 2015 Terrence Loves You She's just lying there like in the picture above... She has a record player, plays an LP and the song begins... She's just there, with a very lifeless and sad face, seeing the blue ( ) sky... suddenly lots of colorful shooting stars appear, and Lana looks amazed. All of this happened during Verse 1 - Chorus 1. When Verse 2 begins, the sun slowly fades out and more colorful stars appear. When the Bridge kicks in, she stands up and starts running because the grass and flowers are disappearing... the ground turns grey/white. When she sings "Ground control...", she stumbles and falls down. The camera zooms out and she's lying on the moon (It don't know if it made sense but - sky turns black, grass and flowers disappears, ground turns grey/white, shooting stars... I think it's pretty obvious ) As the outro plays in the background ("Hmmmm... hmmmm"), she's staring at the colorful shooting stars with her record player by her side. -- Very psychedelic and strange, but it makes sense in my mind. Edit: To me, it represents self-destruction. The LP/song/record player means a bad memory, a bad moment she's been through, and she's just there... always thinking about it. You think too much and at the end of the day you're still there alone, and everything nice in the world suddenly disappears (green grass, blue skies, etc)... everything turns dark, you're isolated, but you're still there... thinking and hurting yourself.

Obsessions 96 Posted September 23, 2015 The Holy Trinity, a Tropico-like film featuring Religion, Salvatore, and The Blackest Day. So it starts with Lana getting married in Religion, she's walking through a rose garden (Burnt Norton reference) and ya a lot of bright and green visuals. Now, Lana has some monologue, she says "Salvatore was perfect for me, we were in paradise..." Next, Salvatore, here she is on her Honeymoon in Italy and it's basically just like their relationship like with the soft ice cream, then at the end, the guy leaves in a limousine (she uses "limousine" in Salvatore) and she's left all alone eating her soft ice cream outside of a villa. Lana says "I knew all along it wouldn't last, he was too crazy, too wild, we were born to die." (BTD reference ) A lot of tan and old-time sepia type visuals. Finally, The Blackest Day, in this it's raining and ya (obvi more stuff happens). Final monologue "Salvatore gone and there is nothing left, nothing to salvage, my life is over..." Then I kinda thought she'd maybe jump off a bridge like in Summertime Sadness, but just an idea. Dark dark, black, underexposed and lowly saturated visuals.
t-raider26 912 Posted September 23, 2015 I feel like Freak should have Lana dancing with someone, but in a random setting where they shouldn't be dancing. Or they're dancing really inappropriately and everyone around disapproves because they're "freaks", Everytime I hear the song I picture something like this, but obviously slower/sexier. Imagine Lana dancing like this?
Say Yes to Heaven 27,561 Posted September 23, 2015 For Art Deco, (This takes place during the 30's) Lana goes to a Hotel with a SO, dressed in a glamorous red dress, with a diamond necklace and lipstick and nails to match her dress. Her and the SO visit the ART DECO Hotel, right when the chorus hits it pans up to the ceiling of the hotel as a bright light shines through all the windows, and suddenly we're in the 50's. The hotel has a 50's look to it and Lana and her SO have changed into a fitting style. They run into their room and the SO pours cognac for both of them as Lana heads out onto the balcony, she stands by the railing and admires 1950's New York. She turns around as her SO heads out with the glasses and they sit down (just on the floor, a very relaxed feel) They laugh and they get up and dance and hug, and the SO starts to spin with Lana as the 2nd chorus hits and again it fades into white and it settles down as they are transported to the 70's. Lana has the kind of hair and outfit she has in the Freak part of the album sampler (as they dance around) and they head inside and settle down on the bed. They first start by messing the bed up (the innocent way ) They throw pillows, they cover themselves in the blankets, they jump on the bed. Once the song slows down from the chorus, they fall onto the bed and Lana lays on her SO and they lay there, they fall asleep and wake up in the 90's. They get up and end their thrill and check out of the hotel. Lana gets in a taxi and leaves, leaving her SO behind at the hotel. She let's out a tear as she drives away and it's pretty much known by how they ended their adventure that the SO was a complete stranger, and just an amusement to Lana, but as they spent time together, she fell in love. Outfit Ideas: 30's 50's 70's 90's Hair Ideas: 30's 50's 70's with out the jewelry! 90's I WANT LANA TO BRING THIS HAIR BACK SOOOOO BAD! Now her hair is black again, so possibly #praying
hollywoodsdead 277 Posted September 23, 2015 I love this! I should be studying but nvm This Anyway, Freak inspires me so much, I've already thought of some parts of its video ahahah. Well, I figured it to be with a lot of slow motion, on the beach, abosultely. Like, when there's the sunset reflected on the sea. In the second verse when she said "So let's dance in slow motion, tear it up tear it up, let's dance by the ocean oooh oooh" I imagine her while she puts out her dress (with a beautiful swimsuit under) and then she runs to the sea (everything in slow motion) and when the chorus starts she goes in the water (I can't say it in a better way) and then some images of her dancing with her friends around a bonfire at night comes out. For the bridge, She's with her man at sunrise in the same beach, both sit down, when the chorus without instrumental starts she "sing" it to him and then when instrumental re-starts they swim in the water toghether in an artistical way
WaitForLife 5,239 Posted September 23, 2015 GKIT: She is dressed in a Black dress (like the V photoshoot this year) and walks in the desert of Nirvana or LA. Something like a depressing Western movie. SS: 1. VERSION: She is dressed in Blue Jeans and White Shirt and walks through a wonderland. (Something like the place from the HM Photoshoot/Single Cover) 2. VERSION: She walks through the rain with a big red or Blue Umbrella.
