Midnights sessions ended Dec. 2021 with YLM. She started writing TTPD sometime in 2022. If this is the Joe breakup album, and they were last seen together Oct. 2022, I’m speculating she started writing this summer 2022 when the relationship was at its end and a lot of it was written and recorded after they broke sometime in late 22/early 23. 

So if she's been writing this for 2 years, does this intertwine with the Midnights sessions?

When I download a leak of the album that compiles all the bonus tracks into one mega deluxe… then what?  eat shit billionaire bitch!!

Midnights definitely feels like a breakup album in hindsight, but honestly every album since Lover and onwards has felt like a toxic off again on again relationship that needs to end

Ya idk. On one hand - maybe. But on the other hand, both of them would’ve actually benefited from the publicity of the breakup, and Midnights would’ve probably gotten more attention if it was the breakup album and the true other side of Lover. I think they were just a messy couple as much as Swifties hated to admit it and were on-and-off for a long time. I don’t think someone in a totally happy relationship (the way Swifties painted it) of 4 years would’ve written folklore and evermore. 

I’m guessing she’s going to do 4 versions (with different bonus tracks, there will obviously be a target variant). I can’t imagine there being more than 4 bonus tracks, the album itself is already quite long

She does this practically every album cycle, which is why i'm surprised people are still falling for it. I don't think Lana is straight up lying though, in her mind she wants to release it in September and hopes to, but her label have other plans.. and probably don't expect her to be blurting out random dates before checking with them first

The date will pass and she'll be radio silent until at least March 2025 when she drops the first single and pre order for a summer 2025 release
