it really shouldn't but there's been several exclusive drops on there by artists huge in the hip/hop and pop market 

 

(Jay-Z, Kanye, Beyonce, Rihanna) so numbers and appeal is there, the fact if you're sponsered or highlighted by them is a semi-big deal- but the free streams of Meek Mills album generating 0 revenue and still gaining chart numbers is bullshit. 

 

Nothing is stopping thousands of easy to make bots from playing the album over and over again. With other sources you need to cycle songs/albums for the streams to not be discounted thinking if you're a bot; that's in addition to having to own the fucking album. 

 

Tidal is a shitshow backwards company plain and simple
