In an unprecedented article in Billboard today (posted in billboard online about 430pm eastern

entitled "clearing up free streams on the chart"- they acknowledge about Tyler & the free-streaming on Tidal

HOWEVER-

they are NOT going to do anything this week about it.

They will reevaluate down the road.

This is 3 times that someone recent history gamed the charts, and if Tyler is #1, then all 3 went to the advantage of the male artist over the female artist.

Britney Spears lost a #1 album that way. (yet, that week, it was done without warning.)

Billboard should also have a rule that an album has to be on schedule ahead of time to count debut week, perhaps with a 21 day notice,

Not gonna lie, I think a normal black vinyl for LFL sort of adds to it's charm. The coke bottle clear doesn't do anything for me atm.

I'd like to believe they're restocking small quantities like they did with the signed CDs, lithos, etc... Digital album is back to its regular price, as well as all the other bundles. Being optimistic, maybe they're doing it bc it was the end of tracking week?

 

I mean they don't come out until the very end of September. I doubt they've all been pressed by now.
