SPOILERS ABOUT FIRST 3 EPISODES: TV Critics have seen the first 3 episodes, this comes straight from them.

 

 

• This season is filmed normally, unlike Roanoke
• Murder House and Freak Show are the closest in TONE.
• There is SEX / NUDITY in the first episodes
• Polygamy seems to run in the CULT
• There is not any unannounced cast in the first three episodes
• Mare Winningham and Frances Conroy do not appear in the first three episodes
• Evan Peters coats his face in Cheeto dust from excitement of Trump's election
• The last 10 minutes of episode 3 are "spectacular"
• The grocery store scene in the trailer happens in episode 1
• There is a scene in episode 3 involving a guinea pig that is absolutely horrible... one thing is: NEVER GIVE A CHILD A GUINEA PIG

• Funny character roles: Billie Lourd delivers not only a fantastic performance as Winter, but can really crack a joke. Leslie Grossman's character, also.
• Adina Porter's character is in all first 3 episodes
• One scene depicts that Colton Haynes' character has A LOT coming.

Idk how to feel about the premiere last night. Some of the themes do seem interesting and Evan's character truly is terrifying. Sarah's character might drive me crazy though, she has been playing the same character too much I think.

I liked the premier! I think the lack of subtlety is doing well this season whereas it ruined some of the others. I'm already seeing a clear allegory in Ally's phobias and the clowns. The writing is a bit predictable as always but we've come to expect that.

 

Evan Peters' performance was amazing, definitely a highlight.

I think the episode was great. Loooooved the horror elements, storyline, everything's on point. Except Sarah's character, she's crazy (again) and it's getting boring a bit. But at the same time, it's interesting.

 

Honestly, I can't wait to see the rest.
