Just got back from work. What a pain. I had 2 computers up and my phone and it seems like only one computer would let me log in so I didn't want to get locked out. I got a ticket for Jones Beach though, orchestra H Row GG seat 14, and it looks like a decent seat. That was at the standard price. That was at 10:00 this morning and then I tried again at 1:00 but no such luck. I actually logged in at 12:30 and waited it out. It didn't take long once the queue opened but there was nothing left. There was Platinum and resale but all the standards were way far away. If I don't have a good seat for the Bowl I am not going to fly out there. We'll see if a resale at a decent price may pop up. There was a few in the garden section but $600 and up. BUT I GOT MY TICKET TO SEE LANA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They should be but it will say when you buy them. For the Bowl Garden & Terrace sell in multiples of 2, those are the 2 front sections. (after the very front, Pool Circle) That means you can't buy a single although you can buy a resale single when those become available.

I found out that the presale for Hollywood Bowl is American Express and you need to use your Amex card to purchase. Counts me out. I don't think that will make a huge impact on whats available on Friday.

It looks like the Hollywood Bowl does have a presale on Thursday 10:00 Pacific Time. It is an American Express presale offer. Hopefully there will be a code floating around the web as I don't have an American Express card. For those looking at American dates be prepared when they go on sale. If you have never purchased tickets through Livenation or Ticketmaster (same company now) follow some guidelines. Don't wait till 10 minutes before sale time to log in and figure things out. Create a free account today. Log in and add a credit card to your payment information so it is part of your profile. Log out and back in to see if everything stuck. You don't want to be on line purchasing tickets and entering a CC number only to have an interrupt or browser failure. Get familiar with your venue. For example Hollywood Bowl. You can go now to Ticketmaster and log in and look for tickets that are on sale for another concert that will be at the Bowl. Then you will have an idea of what you will be presented with. On the left is an interactive layout of the seats and you can zoom in and see what tickets are available, which ones are resale, VIP or standard. Also check out the filters on the top. A little confusing but things like price range of ticket you are looking for, how many, should search include VIP, Platinum, Resale etc. Play around so it is not overwhelming when real sale time comes. When you are finally there on sale day sometimes it is best to grab what they offer first. If I want 2 "best seats" and 2 pop up and I glance at the map and think I don't want them and say no then 2 more will pop up but by that time they will probably be worse. Being prepared it is a good idea to log in 5 or 10 minutes early, verify your info and just wait. If you don't get tickets don't worry. You can get them on resale. Keep checking the site for days and get an idea of what they are selling for. If you check multiple times a day sometimes 1 or 2 will appear that are at a good price and someone just wants to get rid of them and isn't just gauging fans. When you get your ticket it is a good idea to print them in case there is an issue with your phone for scanning come showtime. Last thing, when you get your ticket don't post a picture of it, barcode and all, on the web with a "YAS QUEEEEN I GOT MY TICKETS". Don't worry I will be as stressed as everyone else. Good luck.

I think you'll be OK. They are a big ticket vendor and probably know they will get tickets.

So I pre ordered from the ITunes yesterday. I got the tracks that have been released downloaded and the rest will come on release day. Mariners apartment complex Venice bitch Doin' time hope is a dangerous thing etc. etc. I love all of these and I know I will love the album. Doin' time is the only one that has some beat and rhythm that makes you move. I hope some of the unreleased tracks have a bit of a tempo too. Don't get me wrong I could listen to Black Beauty forever but I think it would help balance the album and might appeal to some new fans if there was more tempo. Not necessarily the sentiment of the song just the rhythm. Hope that makes sense. Hey I just wrote a song! "Hope that makes sense because I have some." (sense)

Question for everyone. If you've seen my videos you know I am older than most of you. I usually get a CD and download from ITunes. I heard ITunes is going away. Will it still be available that way? I listen on my computer and IPOD. I know IPODs are no longer a thing but I love it!

Well this is exciting. I live outside Boston now and I imagine there will be a show at some point. I saw her last show at the Hollywood Bowl and could fly out as I have family in L.A. I grew up on Long Island, NY and have friends there so I could go to Jones Beach. AHHHHHH I don't know what to do. I will have to sit on this for a few days. Good luck everyone.

Wow thanks for posting the vids everyone. My take on things. Even if you couldn't see a lot of the crowd I could hear them in a lot of the vids. That is my favorite part of any Lana footage I see. I love seeing the opening when she comes out and the crowd screams. Glad there was that one from that journalist or whatever he does. I get frustrated when so many clips from shows on YouTube are great and end 2 seconds after she is done. For me play it our 10 more seconds so I can hear the crowd!!!!!! Lana seemed happy and the vocals sounded good considering that we are hearing something recorded from the audience and not a feed directly from her mike. I have stated in my videos and on here that I am not a fan of Lana at festivals and these type of mega audience events. But people show up and make the best of it. As far as the set list remember Lana is not our little possession and should cater to super fans with deep tracks etc. She is a huge name around the world and she needs to satisfy some sort of common denominator when she performs for those who buy tickets. I know most in the audience know all her album tracks anyway but I thing she has to take a broader view. (and sometimes laziness may creep in) The comments about security etc. are frustrating. I went through hell when I had the good fortune to see her at the House of Blues in Boston so I know how crazed Lana fans are. (I have seen her 5 times. I don't have the resources like "Win" to see her every time) The venues don't know who they are dealing with. (Watch what you say to me, careful who you're talking to!) This is older but worth a watch if you want to see madness. Enjoy.

My first love for Lana is her God given voice and her emotional sensibility. The fact that she was born looking the way she does has assisted in her becoming the iconic figure she is but for most of us that is not why we are fans. Her taking her natural looks to another level by her hair, makeup and clothes over the years has only added to and cemented her "image". These pics are very interesting though. I agree with someone else about the jeans, they are not flattering. Her hair is also not very flattering. The zero make up look is a bit of a surprise of late. These are superficial comments I know but hear me out. On the one hand Lana may be in a great place where she is not identifying herself as "Lana Del Rey" in her personal life and says I am going to walk around looking as I like because I am comfortable in my own skin. I'll dress up and make up when my career calls for it. On the other hand maybe she is in a depression. She has put on a little weight and looks like she barely brushed her hair. Who knows. Kind of silly the people posting that suddenly her look indicates homophobia or something. I don't think that is on her radar when she goes out in the morning. "I am going to dress down so the gays will stop perpetuating this thing I have created!" That's crazy thought. It's probably not my business to try and analyze her personal life anyway. We all think we "know" her when we really don't. I like when you see the pictures of her and all her female friends. David Bowie released his last album on his birthday! (I know he passed away a couple of days later) Her birthday is coming up!!!!!!!!

Interesting. I associated this with A.A. meetings. A majority of A.A. meetings are in church basements. People share their experience, strength and hope. (and pain) The coffee pot and a meeting go hand in hand. The A.A. triangle, recovery, unity, service. (Triad) Who knows?

Thanks all for the pics and the videos. I am pretty sure those that attended enjoyed themselves. Remember this has been the first show for a while and part of a festival. I think she only has a few festival dates lined up. I think when she does a Lana tour (in 2021 or 2022 ) she'll put a little more focus on the show.

I agree. American is one of my favorites. Never thought of it as underrated.
