Just watched an interview with Gaga on ETalk, and realised I fucking love her. I thought I'm done and I'm still disappointed about certain things, but she just fascinates me too much and has been probably one of the greatest influences on me/my way of thinking and seeing things. I don't like everything she does, but there's just that smth about her that I can't explain. Smth that simply pulls me to her. So, my Gaga era probably will never be over, I'm not capable of stopping, as much as I would want to. The whole thing just leads to a sort of obsession, that sometimes doesn't have good consequences. What is it about her? I wish I could understand

Circumambient is one of my original favs on the album, i have no freaking clue what she is singing half the time and just spend the majority of the song making noises when i sing along : /
 
some people think its stupid that u cant tell what she is singing but im like its not about lyrics with her, its about sounds. She uses her voice as another instrument as part of the track, and its all about how her voice interacts with the music.

every time i tell someone im a lana stan i always hear the same thing
"eww she sucks live"
"her lips......"
"she is so fake"
etc etc etc
but something new i heard was that BTD as an album lacked emotion and passion...... basically her voice just comes across bored and monotone.
 
 
 
how do i argue this when its a little bit true ?
im not hating, i love her but her voice is kinda ..... bland and i can see how someone would think she is emotionless. I never really picked up on it till someone pointed it out to me

I'd rather not get involved in this community (no offense to anyone, it would just consume the rest of the time I have in my already non-existent life ); I just came to defend my friend. I may be biased on this, but I still don't think it's fair to revoke posting priveleges without a warning beforehand, but I'm not gonna tell you how to do your job; do whatever you think is right.
 
I may log back on here sometime in the future just for the heck of it, but in case I don't, I would just like to wish you all happy holidays and a most wonderful new year.
 
Now if you'll excuse me, I have a final thesis due in less than 48 hours and I've barely started working on it .

I'm not necessarily a Lana fan (I bought the deluxe edition of Born To Die, but that's about it) so I wouldn't be using this forum anyway... besides, I would probably be banned if my first posts were points made in the previous posts.
 
She wasn't being disrespectful on purpose; I made MUCH harsher comments and from what I've seen, she watered them down; her posts and mine probably mixed a bit.
 
Also, I didn't ask for the viewpoints of others, they just said them. Greeeeen was asking for your help to defend her stance (as stated in the OP)
