ever thought you might just dislike charli's music? I'm not sure why you would even listen to shelved live-only songs like party 4 u and up n down if you don't already like charli... why not start with N1A or some of her other singles?

it's been known to happen. I mean there was the whole Rick Nowels situation that even got several Charli songs leaked back in the day, where his website just allowed open access to files with no security poor charli needs to just record in a closed environment, save it to a thumbdrive, never let it touch the internet, keep the drive with her at all times. but since she collabs with so many people and records all over the world it must just be hard to keep things safe. hopefully the label just doesn't send it to them until release day

hopefully we'll get another season of the candy shop. charli was a really fun host and she got a lot of good guests. the only criticism I have is that her music selection got repetitive after the first episode or two. still, she introduced me to a bunch of songs I ended up liking.

I like experience and foreign fields a lot. I'm excited for the EP. I have that feeling she's gonna fall off and never release an album though.

ok so YADi's last solo release was back in 2013 but she's been songwriting for other people a TON and has had a bunch of collabs since then as well. this year she started a production duo with Hoost called Frank Gamble. I'm guessing she's trying to keep the band kind of a fresh start because they released a song called MYTHS earlier this month and she didn't even tweet about it from her main account. the song has her typical overproduced sound and kinda reminds me of MIA with some of the instruments and samples. https://soundcloud.com/therealfrankgamble/myths

Hana is really nice! She played 10 songs over ~40 minutes. I wasn't too sure what to expect since she only has two songs out, but the rest of her material is just as good as those two. I only got one new title, which was the last song she played: "Chimera". I think it's the best one of the new songs. She was very gracious on stage and kind of made Purity Ring seem rude - while HANA was saying how sweet the audience was and how grateful she was to be on the tour, Megan James could only repeatedly say to turn off the flash. After the show she came out and stood by the merchandise for a free meet-and-greet. She hugged everybody, took pictures, and handed out little HANA stickers, which she would sign for you. I wish she had an EP or a vinyl or a poster to sell, because the t-shirt is honestly unappealing. The sound quality at the venue wasn't great (really overpowering bass which made the lyrics mostly unintelligible), so I didn't bother recording.

I'm going to one of the Purity Ring shows early next month. I'm really excited to hear something new!!
