I mean the music video (NA theme was amazing, intro, outro, the frame and filters, etc) And Lana looked flawless, the look in Ride with curls was kinda tacky

I thinks it's Cola, the red bikini with money inside suits a whore like Cola's theme (that likes old men) -

Hey, here's the translated interview from Marie Claire (Russia). Sorry if you found some mistakes You are always singing about disappointment. You had a sad love story? Yes, in my life was the man next to whom I would like to live life. We were both innocent and happy. But his feelings were soon to fade. He was sitting at home in front of a computer, not paying attention to me. It has become impossible to live together. It was hard to accept. I'm up to it for so long struggled with loneliness! And when it seemed that finally found someone who will take care of me, it was over. What you come up with in order to successfully compete with the monsters like Lady Gaga? Created their own image? Thank you so think? (Laughs) I do not think that I am doing something special. I do not wear crazy costumes. I agree, sometimes my sweaters vintage look - but that is because they are perfect in the mood of my music. That's it. Perhaps my voice and text - is a little provocation, but I just want everything to be beautiful. That my music is a pleasant experience. But the songs are a pretty grim. All of the loss of innocence and unjustified expectations. Hard life in New York hit you with an optimistic way of life? It all started to New York. At puberty, I had a lot of problems, I was terribly unhappy creature. I behaved inappropriately, Saw sip to calm down several times heavily drunk. In New York, I have conceived a new life, writing songs. I was all alone in the city, and it spurred me - in many ways. I came across an interesting (and even quite unusual!) People I began to imitate. So with the help of music I learned to solve problems. "Perhaps my voice and text - is a little provocation, but I just want everything to be beautiful" Why did you name the album Born to Die («Born to die")? Inspiration was the fear that I experienced as a child, when suddenly I realized that my father, my mother and I, we are all in this world sooner or later die. This philosophical crisis so far in my life. Your favorite subject - loneliness. Are you still feel useless? (Laughs) No, I feel satisfied. But by nature I am an introvert. So I sing about what happens to the girls who think they have found someone for life, and then all of a sudden their dreams are crumbling. Be alone, do not feel any attachment to someone is very difficult. I want to believe that happiness you meet. Are you a shy person? Closed. Very nervous when I have to first talk to someone I do not know. This does not stop at the concerts? Sometimes it is even noticeable. But I'm learning to cope with it. I repeat to myself, "Just relax, think only about the notes, but not about what and who is around you." And what do you have besides music? I have many other interests. I love jewelry. Jewelry. In New York, I have a favorite jeweler, he does amazing things. Perhaps this is not very original hobby? But I do not care. I always say to myself, 'Think of those who likes you, everything else you do not have to worry. " In my opinion, the main thing - to be a good person and to live an interesting life. It may sound naive, but this is the whole me.

Lana Del Rey attends MusiCares Feb 8, in Los Angeles
rafaelgould replied to Your Girl Lana's topic in Appearances
I don't know about hairstyles. But can the hairstyle might get her an aspect of short hair? She reminds me of Tina Fey and Lana Wintes (a.k.a. Lana Banana). I prefer this look over the tacky curls in Ride's music video. But I will always love the look in Blue Jeans, Paradise and Rolling Stone cover (it's from the same day shoot) It's me or there's two stalkers. I think the guy who's talking to Lana and giving her stuffs to sing at 1:05 it's the same outside the Chateau Marmont last time when she gave a fan a present and hit her head over the car (Maybe it's Sarah's father, creep!!) -
I prefer a Blu-ray concert (Blu-rey for Lana)
-
I'm in love with this cover. It's the second magazine cover that Lana smiles (Rolling Stones México was the first). I think the upcoming will be more happier and radio friendly (more Lizzy Grant), less dramatic and sadcore.

Today Chuck (Lana's sister in case you don't know her) instagrammed a screen capture of Lana saying "Chuck grant x Ldr". But the interesting question is: Did she already shot the music video for Cola? We have a lot of reasons to say that perhaps the video it's shooted. Chuck was the photographer in her sister's music videos (National Anthem, Ride and Cola?) What do you think? Let's hope that she releases the video ASAP and slays us SOURCES: http://instagram.com/p/USL9oMiZgL/ http://yourgirlchuck...uck-grant-x-ldr

Everytime I see this pic I can't belive it's Lana. She looks horrible (that moustache and her eyebrows all caterpillar-ish). I just can't stand at it June 4, 2012: And here she looks gorgeous as always. I love her!!!

HYPOTHETICAL: MTV Unplugged with LANA
rafaelgould replied to ♥Love♥Lana♥Like♥Life's topic in Lana Thoughts
I would love!!! with orchesta, background singers, violins, strings and piano included. The whole songs of BTD, except Off The Races and Lolita (There so long and don't like it lol) and some demos (Damn You, I Don't Wanna Go and more) -
Well, I agree that she needs to be present in a certain way with her fans through her social networks. But it's her choice whether we like it or not (Personally to me it doesn't matter. I still support and love her). But don't being ridiculous about that. I clearly remember that she said in a interview that she uses her social networks as a tools (to comunicate about her career not her personal life). How can someone be mean with her knowing the way she treates their fans? She treat them like a friend she knows for a long time not as a stranger (and not via internet like a lot of artists that shows fake love with fans to create a humble image that no one believes). I've seen a lot (and I really mean a lot) of videos and photos with her fans and she looks so sweet, humble and down to earth with them (It does't look fake at all) hugging, crying, kissing, signing things, taking pictures with them, etc. That's what I admire of her that she is normal with fans and treat them with love and respect (She doesn't have that stupid and superior attitude that most of artist have when they ask for a pic or something and only seen the fans as a pocket full of money to waste on him/her) I prefer the Lana that is shy through internet and a sweet person with fans (face-to-face). By the way, sometimes she responds comments on her YouTube account

What would you do if you could be Lana for one week?

MY TO-DO LIST AS LANA/LIZZY: Taste the pussy flavor (To confirm that really taste like Pepsi Cola) Cut those paws nails Get back to brown color hair (like the National Anthem or Blue Jeans videos) Give my fans a lot of stuff as a gift to her loyalty (acapellas, demos, stems, unreleased material, etc) Get a friend named Rafael Gould (sounds like a stalker but I'm not) Be more active at her social networks, respond tweets, talk about the day, etc (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube) Get a bunch of collaborations with artists like: Marina and the Diamonds, Ellie Goulding, etc (Not too much like Nicki Minaj or Pitbull) Exploit their Spanish knowledge of and releases a couple of songs in Spanish (and other languages too) Be more loose and talk about their past and family Write a autobiography book (It would be a bestseller) A live concert (Acoustic and Normal) edited in Blu-ray not DVD (I prefer the HD) Have my own Video blog in YouTube called "My life as Lana" (Not with that crap editing like we in E! or Mtv, I prefer a homemade ones showing us a day in her life. Would love to see a video like Cribs that shows us her house) Record a video singing it Noir totally naked in front of the mirror (A slap to all the haters, Screaming in the part that says "I'm Glamorous! Famous! Notorious! Dangerous!" with a narcisist attitude). One singing Go Go Dancer (with emphasis in the part that says "I'll never have to work, 'Cause my daddy is rich") posted it on YouTube Showing skills playing instruments (guitar, piano, etc) Singing Cola totally live and start taking her clothes off and get totally naked when it's the moment that reaches the high notesAt live performances use background vocals (or hire some back-up singers on stage) to give a flawless show without alter the key of the song. (Not the ones that sounds like moanings, like the first version of Body Electric we've heard first. I love those sounds) By the way I love you sign of the Godfather -

Still love her -
I don't know, something between the ends of 2011 and early of 2012

It's me or Lana here looks less vintage and classy (you know what am I talking about: dresses, high heels, hairstyle and more) and now she seems more rockier with that leather jacket, jeans, bllerina shoes, etc. I don't know but perhaps she feels more comfortable with this style. I dare to say that I see her less sad, more loose and funnier (more Lizzy Grant). I like both styles
-
Marina And The Diamonds (maybe this sounds like a cliché but it's true lol) Avril Lavigne Demi Lovato I know you only want 3 artists, but I'm a bad guy so here's the fourth: Ellie Goulding :hagirl:

I know there's a lot of people that says this song is a mess. I want to hear your thoughts about it. To me it obviously it's a homemade track but I know if we hear a remastered version we're gonna love it more (I'm already in love with it) The strange thing is that I don't know why but the "ah, ah, ah, ah" at the beggining reminds me of Don't Go Knockin' on My Door and Satisfaction by Britney Spears. Specially in the parts that says "Don't, don't knockin' on my door" and "Hey hey hey hey" Did you feel the same atmosphere at the beginning or am I crazy?
