Agreed. Whenever I listen to the song now, I'm somewhat forcing myself. It collects dust on my Lana playlist, it sits there untouched mostly. I feel the same way with Gods & Monsters, it's so melodramatic. The lyrics make me cringe also in some parts. Also the husky voice does not help my views on the song at all. The production though works in some spots, but overall Gods & Monsters is a slightly better Dark Paradise that I'll most likely leave in the corner of my Lana playlist to collect dust.

I liked DP for a week then I stopped listening to it because it sounded so melodramatic. I'll listen to it every now and then but not as often as any other song on BTD. I feel the same about Gods & Monsters after one listen.

I don't like Gods & Monsters too much either... Cola is the highlight of the album for me.

As soon as I hit the last chorus of Cola, I feel like driving around in my dad's '69 Chevelle blasting "MY PUSSY TASTES LIKE PEPSI COLA" cross-country through America. It's such a good song.

My favorite is Cola.

I agree with HDB. Video Games, it's a nice song, but it feels - empty. There's practically no atmosphere around it, in my opinion. Disco and Get Drunk are wonderful though. Get Drunk has such an intense buildup to it, and Disco has a creepy LA strip club & heroin vibe to it. Fordham Road also has this strong atmosphere to it. I picture a foggy New York day when I listen to it.
