  1. yeah let’s hope she’s never put in a situation where her privacy is invaded like that and things leak, she posts plenty of outtakes and demos on her own Soundcloud and Tumblr let’s just wish for that B-sides are coming
  2. i didn’t realize there was a typewriter font on here… oh i am about to abuse this so much
  3. okay and ben and ed still need to bffr actually not too hard on ed i like him… not the other one
  4. isn’t this the THIRD post-preorder release date Ellie’s album has had… ben and ed need to be bffr. manifesting Ocean Blvd coming out earlier though
  5. so good really wish i could attend this tour but i’m going to be out of town the day she’s in my city 🥲
  6. we don’t have any more info! but yeah I believe it was BOZ who told us (or maybe Brightsun? i can’t remember) in the first place, there was another song that was supposed to be the lead for a long time but it was completely scrapped last minute, which is weird if it was the single 😭 it’s probably so good
  7. ik the album just came out but i’m really hoping we get a titanic risen-esque single later this year perhaps the song that was supposed to be the lead but was ultimately cut from the album entirely last minute
  8. GOD 😭 i actually loveee song titles being in sentence case if the title is a whole sentence, but it seems like putting anything in sentence case is becoming a thing like all lowercase and i don’t really like it… the new Gracie Abrams album has all of its song titles in sentence case too (and awkwardly; “The blue”, “Right now”, “Fault line” etc). lana a trailblazer again!
  9. yeah the sentence case actually makes sense for the title track and Grandpa because the titles are entire sentences, unlike “Love song”, “How to disappear”, “The greatest”…
  10. the lack of punctuation of the album title still irks me i actually really love the sentence case because it is a sentence, and the Blvd abbreviation is quirky and cute, but whyyyy on earth didn’t she put a question mark at the end and call it Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd? especially considering the random and unnecessary exclamation point in NFR’s title
  11. to this day i still think White Dress was never released as a single because of Lana breaking her arm while filming the video; they wanted to release the video with the song, but after Lana got hurt they had to push back the whole production and find someone else to do the rollerskating, and the video wouldn’t have been fully completed by 2/26 like they’d planned. so i’m hoping this is just a case of Ben and Ed taking down A&W because they saw 111 figured it out and didn’t want anyone else to find it either, and they’ll re-submit later
  12. girl i never said that was for the people just talking/discussing it, i’ve talked about it too, what i said is very clearly aimed at the people who CARE about her chart positions like i mentioned. and anyone who genuinely does care about that in terms of Lana is indeed projecting their expectations of other artists with completely different careers onto her, because what has that woman ever done post-UV that insinuated charts and sales were important or relevant to her
  13. but lana is definitely not so unknown that she’ll die in oblivion and she has found a middle way, so i don’t really think it’s relevant to care about charts for Ocean Blvd or any of lana’s work at this point, especially if her “dying into oblivion” is anyone’s concern
  14. that’s not really the case at all, charts are a measure of how popular you are. “how work is received by the public” is also kind of irrelevant when you’re talking about measuring true artistry considering 95% of the public doesn’t actually know anything about music, which is why shit songs and albums are always dominating the charts
  15. why do y’all care about charts OR sales at all… charts are not and never have been in her top 100 priorities and she is a millionaire, if she sells 5 copies of the album she’ll be fine it’s so funny watching obvious stans of the big pop girls who actually do care about that stuff projecting that same thing onto lana
  16. yeah he could very well work in the industry, but like i said not that closely. he had to have made friends with people who do work that closely with artists and that’s where he gets his info from, ik Eclipse said that all of our theories are wrong but if something similar to this wasn’t the case I just see no possibility why he wouldn’t be fired yet
  17. oh brother 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
  18. also i don’t believe BOZ works in that industry that closely himself because he’s said in the past that he gets all of his information from a source, so he must just know someone who does work that closely to artists. but yeah i can’t believe there hasn’t been more internal work done to figure out where he’s getting that info from and shutting that person down 😭 BOZ is just the messenger
  19. not ben actually being mad that we have the date… see this wouldn’t have happened if they just announced it THEMSELVES yesterday and didn’t submit the song to DSPs until later this week as you all know i have been very sympathetic towards lana and her lack of promotion because it’s not her job to promote herself and this point in her career, but do you know whose job it actually is? her managers’. there’s literally absolutely no harm in posting on oceanblvd to tell us it’s coming next week they had many opportunities to tell us before we learned from an outside source
  20. i’m very curious if the 2 parts of A&W are going to seamlessly transition into each other in a Nights by Frank Ocean type of way, or if they’re going to be separated like a Hard Feelings/Loveless type of way. hoping it’s seamless
  21. how does so much get lost in translation like… comprehension people, reading comprehension!
