i hope Waist Deep in Ivy Waves is the name of the album and not just a song or random lyric 😭 it has to mean something. it’s such a beautiful phrase it deserves to be an album title

that’s… very odd wait how do we know that? when you export a song in garageband the metronome isn’t included in the bounce regardless of if it’s on or not

i am so curious what was cut out of the song though considering there is so much of a duration difference… i wonder if it’s kind of like a Blue Jeans situation again? like if there was a long string intro or something that was taken out of the single version but will potentially make an appearance in a possible music video

i think it was a demo; they were also selling the Arcadia demo and the Fingertips snippet was definitely a demo as well (you can literally hear the click track clear as day and i don’t think it was a tag). they probably just had a few rough versions

LFL preorder didn’t go up until 2 weeks before the album came out iirc (but she did post the cover in April), NFR preorder went up i think exactly a month before the album came out, Chemtrails preorder went up a little over 2 months before the album came out, Blue Banisters preorder went up 6 weeks before the album came out

the way BOZ and other people on atrl have been talking about this week confirms that the very small possibility the whole album would come on friday is not true, but i really hope we get it on either the 6th or 13th next month 😵‍💫 any longer than that is going to be so hard

absolutely not, Arcadia is beautiful and top 3 on BB. i think my only issue with that song is that the chorus melody is kind of boring and i feel like i’ve heard it a million times before, and not in a nostalgic Old Money type of way. but it’s still a beautiful song, feels like one of the few songs on BB that knows what it’s supposed to be. I would be happy if Ocean Blvd is similar
