Hi there everyone! After like 5 days I finally finished my Be my grandfather cover! I've probably worked on 7 different covers for this one song but I know for sure it'll be worth it. Waiting for the full thing to leak is brutal. I remember I was so intrigued by the title when I first saw it registered, I automatically contacted John to find out more about the song and he gave me some info on it and then basically told me to fuck off lol. Ever since then I lowkey lost hope but thanks to Mr Hakan he made it possible again! It sounds like everything i've hoped for it to be. A complete, sexy, upbeat, trashy, playful BOP. I'm so ready! Haha I also wanted to take the time thank @Eclipse for giving us songs/ snippets that we honestly thought we'd never hear! Thanks to @unleaked on twitter as well for rural songs! You guys are so dope! we def appreciate you! Anyways I wanted the cover to be playful, sexy, and electric. She originally had cat ears and a tail but this is what i settled for .. Enjoy XXX

since Lana is basically a huge mystery to me (the real Lizzy i should say) i'll just go by how i relate to who I believe Lana is.

Has anyone contacted Steven Mertens? I contacted him in February of last year and then March. He ignored me. Don't come for me I didn't beg for music. I would like to know if he has responded to any of you guys.
 
The email I sent in March: Hi there I sent you an email about a month ago; I'm not sure if you received it. I really enjoy your music and your production skills. Recently, I read that you helped produced Lana's A.K.A. album before David Kahne got ahold of it. Can you tell me about that process?

While I'm in full agreement about the desire for streaming, the need for DVDs, and switched up playlists etc. On the upside it does seem like she's exercising her backup singers more this concert (judging from the Blue Jeans and other performances). Gives me hope that a live Axl Rose Husband is possible. The Honeymoon performance was really badass imo, meaning she's doing live the way live is supposed to be done relative to studio. Also performances are beginning to trickle into youtube.
 

 
Not quite sure what is referenced by "National Anthem Parody", @@PlaceboHoliday, but if it's New Americana song that's unfair given NA is often criticized for being like another song (Bittersweet Symphony, a Verve song?). I think Halsey getting into OTTR is a good sign. At the very least it shows she enjoys the song, and thinking speculatively she may want to be well regarded by LDR (also the scowling brunette in the background, maybe she's trying to rile her, lol). BTW, great work covering the concerts @@PlaceboHoliday.
