She really likes recording her vocals with Anthony Preston. He’s an awesome vocal producer that she’s worked with forever. I’ll get started in the studio, get a vibe going, and Anthony will record the vocals. I wish I had recorded her vocal on that. As far as writing, we wrote it together. We’d meet up for lunch sessions in the Valley, talk about life, I’d take notes about what we discussed. She’d ask to change this, change that. okay ive just listened to the song and its honestly not bad-they removed the scream and shout intro? I could of sworn it was on the version I listened too. Its just a bit basic but its better than hold my closer, its definitely not unlistenable. I just dislike the myah vocals and its nothing to run home about-we could of had another scream and shout though so Im thankful.

Honestly can will just retire- he was a decent producer in the the early to mid 2000s but since I got a feeling gave us one of the worst periods of trash electro pop(bar lady gaga) everyone of his songs is the same… it’s not 2010 anymore

No Myah, Britney has one layer in the verses v Tulisa 3 or something layers, Britney sings the chorus by herself mostly

It blew up because the chorus is an ear worm but the production and overall vibe on that song is unlistenable like work b*tch I will always be shocked at him producing American boy and big fat bass though because they’re unironically good floor songs.

The thing is Britney’s backup vocals with myah go over “backing vocals”- the backing vocalist shouldn’t be singing the lead harmony on a chorus like on circus because the producers couldn’t be bothered to call her back in. the same applies with toxic too though- Cathy Dennis and Emma are way too mixed into the choruses. Only Max does the obvious strong backing vocals well where Britney is still lead

Myah confirmed on IG that she’s doing backing vocals So it isn’t just Brit regardless of what you hear unless the screenshots are faked which is just dumb but she did also hint on live saying she wrote a song about business and will loves a stolen writing credit so

So we’ve got scream and shout ft Britney Spears and Tulisa, Myah jean album ft Myah Marie and mind your business ft Myah Marie all produced and recorded by will he cares so much about Britney clearly.

Will is morally bankrupt artistically anyway and eve told the world the truth on S&S and no one believed her She outright stated Britney didn’t record any of the verses and was slammed. Really dislike wills catalog but I thought big fat bass was a fun house adjacent track and one of the better ones on the generic femme album along with he about to lose me, how I roll, gasoline and don’t keep me waiting. his other Britney collabs are horrendous though
