FFS Bones is easily my favourite of the new songs, I'm not really feeling the others... and it's not even one and a half minutes long. Someone make an extended version, please?

She said the album is almost done, and it's definitely going to be on it. I'd expect the album in Q1/2020, but perhaps a single in November?

This was my intention as well lol. At first only Lana, then my favourite albums by my other favourite artists, then albums by non-favourite artists that still felt essential (stuff by Amy Winehouse, Nirvana, Whitney Houston), then I started buying my non-favourite albums by my favourite albums for completion's sake too, and at one point I just started randomly buying everything I see.

I mean, the funny thing is that the only "main fave" of mine that released an album this year is Lana, and as much as I love it, it's definitely not at the top of my personal list. But Ariana, Madonna, Charli, Banks, Tove Lo, Slayyyter, Pink, Elena Temnikova all put out great albums/mixtapes/EPs, Kim even released two, Kylie and Lily Allen appeared on some really good collabs/standalone singles, and Gwen is... at least sort of working on new material, and obviously I would very much appreciate a decent EP from Allie (I'm not expecting albums anymore), but even if that doesn't happen, I can't really complain lol.

I don't know, the Super Sunset project started out great, but ultimately I got tired of that kind of production really fast and the only song I still use is Science. Huh? I think 2019 has been fantastic in terms of music, if we ignore the one major disappointment that was Lice + Fleas.

The two new songs are nice enough, but I don't ever feel the need to actively go and listen to them. Generally she's kinda lost me after CollXtion II, I don't know...

I know it's 2019 and everybody is pretty much over reaction videos, but I just stumbled upon this one and it's really worth watching IMO. I love how she's super passionate and clearly knows a lot about music production, but at the same time the way she's talking is the definition of "We had no choice but to stan!" lol.

It's once again time to remind the world that Oh My God, Champagne & Saint Germain, and Sculpture deserved better.

I'm definitely not defending him, as I mentioned, I have no doubt he's a difficult/nasty person to work with, probably quite full of himself and thinking he can do whatever he wants because he is Dr. Luke. But as you said, all these big women in the industry accused him and reported about the bad experiences they had with him, yet he was not convicted? Again, I don't know the exact details, and maybe I'm just naïve for wanting to trust in a working judicial system, but to me this doesn't add up. And since you brought up the Harvey Weinstein example, as important as the #metoo movement undoubtedly was and still is, unfortunately these things can go in a different direction as well. Over here, a (male) politician was accused of sexual assault, the media portrayed him as guilty before he had any chance to clear things up or tell "his side" of the story, his political career was ruined – and later it turned out that it was nothing but false accusations, but the damage was already done and the image of him being a sex offender was cemented into people's minds. Now just to be clear, I'm not saying this is the case here, and I'm not saying Kesha or anyone else lied, but I do find it hard to believe that he wouldn't be convicted if the case was so obvious. My guess is that there's more to this than we – or at least I – know of, and that it's not a simple black-or-white situation. And in such cases, I try not to jump to potentially wrong conclusions.

Apparently "innocent until proven guilty" and "in dubio pro reo" only apply in cases where it's convenient. IDK the details and I have no doubt he's a difficult, maybe even nasty person to work with. But at the same time, I think if he was actually guilty of the things he was accused of, he would've been convicted and would probably be in jail now. Exactly. My point is, unless the people who criticise Kim for working with him time and time again stopped listening to those classics AND started boycotting the respective singers in case they still perform these songs – news flash, they still do because they're some of their biggest hits –, they're hypocrites.

If anything, I feel like Luke is more involved with Turn Off The Light than her regular stuff. All those interludes and instrumentals pretty much scream "Look at those amazing productions y'all could've had, but you're boycotting me, so Kim gets it all" to me. If we're realistic, given how unknown Kim still is, the stuff he does for her probably only earns him a fraction of what he gets thanks to people streaming his classics (Behind These Hazel Eyes, U + Ur Hand, Who Knew, I Kissed A Girl, Hot & Cold, to name just a few).

This bxtch! She should've stuck with the original Allie X logo for everything that has "CollXtion" in its title TBH. There should've been a consistent design for both CollXtions as well as CollXtion III (if that ever happens), with Super Sunset being the outlier because that's what it was supposed to be.

I agree, this is easily her best body of work so far, and that's quite a feat considering how strong Era 1 and Clarity are. She really is the ultimate pop girl, and obviously it doesn't hurt that she doesn't have to share Luke's production talent with anyone else lol. Also...

Both Blue Neighbourhood and Bloom were brilliant albums! Tasteless rats SMH.

I wonder if she's gonna release just Vol. 2 on vinyl, since Vol. 1 is already available, or if it's going to be the whole thing. Also, I need to hear Death By Sex, like, NOW!
