  1. I... didn't wanna write this much, oops! Good question lol. In a way, they're all cherished and carry some sort of meaning because I only buy something on vinyl if I either really love the album or really love the artist. If I only "like" something, the CD is usually enough for me. But talking about the actual vinyl records themselves rather than the albums, I generally really like it when there's something special about the packaging and the physical aspect of the record. I love Born To Die: The Paradise Edition (the slipcase) because the gold foil looks stunning and I adore the cover picture, and I love the Ultraviolence picture disc because it just looks gorgeous. My Beyoncé and Lemonade vinyls are among my favourites, they just feel expensive (they kinda were lol), especially the former. They both come in really thick gatefolds with beautiful inner sleeves and huge-ass booklets (basically like the Honeymoon one), and especially the self-titled one is great because the outer packaging is matte black, whereas the booklet is printed on thick, glossy paper. It's just a really nice touch and makes it look like a lot of thought went into the product, which I appreciate a lot. Banks' first album came in a red plastic sleeve/jacket, which I think is a really effective way of giving it a unique and memorable aspect and works quite well with the other visuals of the album. I also have a copy of "Hero of Time", which is basically an album that consists of orchestral versions and re-interpretations of the Zelda: Ocarina of Time soundtrack. While the sound quality is only "okay", again the packaging and visual aspects are amazing. The gatefold sleeve is die-cut and embossed with gold foil, and the inner sleeves have so many nice details as well. I also really like the idea with the four "heart pieces" on each side of the record. And wow, so far I haven't even talked about the sound! Out of Lana's albums, I particlarly love Honeymoon in that regard because it's the one album that sounds best on vinyl even though it's not even my favourite album of hers. There's just so much depth, so many details to hear if you listen closely, which makes every spin an experience. I feel similarly about the 2016 reissue of Kylie Minogue's self-titled album, I've always loved that album, but there's so much more to discover with each play on vinyl and it's kinda saddening that most people probably never get to hear these things because they don't use this music format. Similar things could be said about Duffy's Rockferry, which is one of my favourite albums of all time, and the three Madonna albums I own (Erotica, Ray Of Light, and Confessions), they all sound fantastic and I hardly ever listen to them on any other format. BUT to answer the initial question about my most cherished piece... it's actually Lily Allen's It's Not Me, It's You, which is another one of my all-time favourites, and I was lucky enough to meet her last year and get it signed by her, which obviously makes it really special and, in a way, more valuable than all my other records.

American Life is definitely among my favourite Madonna albums, alongside Ray Of Light, Confessions On A Dance Floor, and Erotica. What a discography she has!
  3. I think the oldest vinyl record I have is a 12" single from 1994 (Confide In Me by Kylie lol).

YES we love some American Life appreciation!
  5. I wouldn't want to live in a world where If U Seek Amy doesn't exist.

I'm actually glad it's not UO doing it, it's hella expensive to order from them if you're from outside the US, plus they suck at wrapping vinyl records lol. But yeah, you're American, right? I just checked Discogs and it looks like most of her albums were actually reissued on coloured vinyl in Europe or at least in the UK, but only on black vinyl in the US? You should be able to get these albums on coloured vinyl for relatively cheap in the US: Like A Virgin, white vinyl Ray Of Light, clear vinyl Confessions On A Dance Floor, pink vinyl As for the others, I guess you can either just get them on black vinyl or import them (Amazon.de and Amazon.co.uk don't charge much for international shipping), or wait until they might be reissued on coloured vinyl in the US too.

Amazon has the MDNA vinyl available again for only £ 20.50, for anyone who's interested and still needs it in their collection! It says it'll dispatch in one to two months.

I'm High is still THAT bop!
  9. @@starktully TASTE!!! Honestly when I first heard Tamino's voice when he opened for Lana in Dublin, he immediately reminded me of Nick Cave, and I thought that it would be amazing if he and Lana covered Nick and Kylie's Where The Wild Roses Grow. Like, IMAGINE how beautiful it'd be!
  10. @@salvatore has listened 166 times, he's heard and synthesized it for yourselves.
  11. Her best release getting justice, we are not ready!
  12. Whew, I'm glad I snatched one of those back in the day! The fact that the other tours didn't even get tour programmes...
  13. I want to get the UO-version of NFR, but including shipping it'd be £ 47 and that's... a lot for one record.

Any version of Girl Gone Wild is still good. TBH I still bop to most of MDNA, it may be below average for her standard, but at least it's better than H*rd C*ndy.
  15. Y'all are ugly and fat for doing Paradise dirty and not acknowledging what a masterpiece it actually is. Lyrics-wise, I would say it's Paradise > Born To Die and Ultraviolence > LDR and Honeymoon > Lust For Life We'll see where NFR fits in this.
  16. Well, she did confirm that it's coming several times, so I'm positive we'll be bopping once again this Halloween!
  17. Which church was it? Are we hating her again? Do I have to cancel my NFR preorder?
  18. Born To Die is flawless and will never be topped.
  19. Is she retiring or...?
  20. The H of the Hollywood sign... H like Heroin... Suicide and death through drug abuse... We-
  21. Sorry to bother you, is there any way you could reupload the "fixed" Clarity single cover? I'm finally adding the album to my iTunes library and obviously I want it to look nice and tidy and apparently I forgot to download this one back in June.
  22. I ACCIDENTALLY BOUGHT THE INSTRUMENTAL VERSION! But at least I got this reply on Twitter out of it... I think I'm gonna print and frame it or something. And I might start using this tweet as a reaction whenever I'm not satisfied with someone's vocal delivery.
