  1. So essentially you're saying... L+F would be AOTY if it wasn't L+F?
  2. Whew, taste! I'm sorta biased because I've been a fan since I was ten, but her version of Last Christmas is b r i l l i a n t !
  3. You know what would look super cute next to your collection?
  4. The fact that stans usually discuss what they think are the best tracks from an album, yet with Merna people are trying to come to an agreement about the songs that are not unlistenable.
  5. Little heads up for y'all... Urban Outfitters has a "buy one, get one 50 % off" sale because of Black Friday, plus free international shipping on orders over $ 50! This might be your chance to get their exclusive NFR, as well as Britney's albums, Turn Off The Light, and many more exclusive vinyl releases from Kelly Clarkson, Avril Lavigne, Mariah Carey, Billie Eilish, Halsey etc.
  6. My thoughts exactly. I think in February it's going to be five years of her premiering Start A War and not releasing it. Still makes me cry.
  7. There are actually quite a few songs left that she didn't end up using (and most importantly, only two of them were produced by Ph*rrell):Boom (Dallas Austin) Candyland (Pharrell Williams) Can't Stop the Music (Linda Perry) The Girl Inside (Tim Rice-Oxley) Parental Advisory (Rich Harrison) Carousel (Williams) Criminal (Perry) Fine by You (Perry) Information (Austin) Just Fine (Perry) Not Enough Time (Rice-Oxley) Regarding the unreleased stuff: Candyland never leaked in HQ, then there's Hard 2 Love and Hell Yeah Baby, and Overdose... and that's basically it. She seems to be good at preventing her stuff from leaking.
  8. The new songs are all such growers! It's still an unusual sound for Allie IMO, but the quality she's delivering is unreal.
  9. The Mercury Prize is very prestigious and unlike most other awards, it seems to be a lot more about music as an art form than about commercial success, but then again it doesn't really count since only albums by British or Irish artists are eligible.
  10. Excuse me, going from reputation to L*ver was even worse than going from Honeymoon to Flop For Life.
  11. Sis, not everyone is willing to spend coin on M*r*na just to see Allie.
  12. Tracklist: "Golden" "Watermelon Sugar" "Adore You" "Lights Up" "Cherry" "Falling" "To Be So Lonely" "She" "Sunflower, Vol. 6" "Canyon Moon" "Treat People With Kindness" "Fine Line" So... no Medicine, unfortunately.
  13. Perfect. Hi Allie, love you, the new songs are all fantastic and I can't wait for the whole thing, but selling your leftover stock of CollXtion I vinyls for $ 80 IS ridiculous, no matter which way you look at it. Also, please make CollXtion II available on CD again (in the same format as the original CollXtion I and the Super Sunset ones, not those weird cardboard sleeves). Thanks and have an Xcellent day, SGF xxxx
  14. What's interesting about LAMB is that in many interviews back then, Gwen didn't really treat it as a "solo album", but rather as a big collaborative project between her, her co-writers and producers, and the Harajuku Girls. So when I first heard Charli talk about her mixtapes and how much she values collaboration, I was immediately reminded of Gwen (although Charli arguably put it on a different level).
  15. As was the entire album. LAMB really paved the way for Nelly Furtado's Loose, Fergie's Dutchess, and essentially every pop album that was released post-2004. We stan pop perfection!
  16. What an odd way of spelling The Real Thing.
  17. We know the titles of quite a few more, just scroll down here:http://beaconstreetonline.net/gwen-stefani/gwens-new-album-what-we-know-so-far Edit: The Linda Perry collab Medicine Man was actually officially released as a part of a movie soundtrack. And I'm not sure if it has ever been confirmed whether Charli's Rrring was meant to be recorded by Gwen or not. Just throwing this out there since it's not on that list.
  18. Oh wig, the perfect outcome and even without having to feel guilty about it, congrats! Now who of you lovely people is going to sell me their CollXtion II CD at a reasonable price? Remember I'm the one who brought this thread back, after all teehee.
  19. As long as you didn't sign anything, you could always tell them you haven't received it. Lost during delivery or whatever. Or am I a bad person for suggesting this lol? My point is, you ordered the CLX I vinyl (which seems to be rare enough already, IDK I got it back when it was still widely available), but received something that's worth even more. If you tell them they sent you the wrong product, they might just ask you to return it and send you the CLX I vinyl instead. But since there's no proof of you ever receiving it (you didn't sign anything), there'd be nothing you have to return and you'd end up with both CLX I and CLX II. And considering how limited that version of CLX II was, you could probably resell it for quite some money. Not gonna lie, I'm usually just scamming Amazon because they deserve it. I'd probably feel bad for doing it to Allie, but then again, selling her own vinyl for those prices is ridiculous.
  20. Message her and tell them you didn't get anything; keep the deluxe CLX II and sell it for $$$$$$$ in a few years.
