  1. I could totally live with such a compilation instead of getting LDR6 in 2018 (which would be delayed to 2019).
  2. BAR Yosemite Roses bloom for you She's not me Hollywood Out with a bang Goodbye kiss Put the radio on Playground/Teenage wasteland Beautiful player Serial Killer Fine China .... (but "considering" is the key word here...)
  3. Inb4 she really releases a 25 track album with unreleased stuff – but every song now has a trap beat!
  4. It's not that easy to categorize Lana's music. I like to make up my own genres for her, like Cinematic Darkjazzpop LFL for me is a mixture of Alternative Pop, DreamPop and Folk (and HipHop/Trap).
  5. I did think when I checked the ARTV review (didn't watch it completely, it was just too stupid) that this guy is giving her a bad review because he knows he will get a lot of clicks from angry Lana fans and pleased Lana haters...

  7. I'd love to come her to Germany but Scotland or Liverpool aren't THAT far away so maybe I should just fly there instead of waiting for her to have a gig here.
  8. Yes that's what I've been thinking too. 72 mins is a lot of music to listen to in one go (and according to Lana the original LFL album was supposed to have 18 tracks!) so cutting it down a bit would've helped (also with the critics). A deluxe edition, maybe like BTD-Paradise edition might've been a smart move. This would be my dream edition: 1. Love 2. LFL 3. 13 B 4. Cherry 5. WM 6. Coachella (acoustic version) 7.–13. the tracks 10.–16. on the actual album Deluxe: SB GL IMF Yosemite Roses Bloom for you BAR/Architecture Good thing is that we're able to make our own individual playlist of the album so everyone can make the tracklist he or she likes.
  9. The best thing is - in the near future his Lana reviews will already be forgotten while thousands people still listen to and enjoy Lana's albums.
  10. I don't want an album of 16 acoustic tracks ofc but nevertheless I'd like to hear what LFL oder Coachella were like before the heavy instrumentation / trap beat were added.
  11. I watched a bit of it - it's not as bad as most of us expected. What he said about the trap beat/modern part of the record is partly true, it could've been done better (just by omitting 2 or 3 tracks). I probably will listen to LFL in the future without SB, GL and IMF although I enjoy those songs individually (and I will listen to them individually but not every time when I'll listen to the album). As I said earlier on – Lana's metascore/her score with reviews would surely be even higher if she stripped down the record just a little bit. 72 mins is a lot to swallow! (But I'm still very happy with it.) Could you imagine how the entire LF album sounded like after the first takes with Rick Nowels (as he said in the interview recently)? :-O Just her voice and piano / acoustic guitar... I'd kill to have a chance to listen to those versions of the songs... ("Roses bloom for you" gave us a good impression; or "Change" – I love this simple, not overly produced songs.)
  12. The only quickly done track with trap beats is Coachella and it's not that bad (for me). Would've been better without the beat ofc. I like the melody.
  13. Actually I don't care about Fontano. I don't watch his reviews cause I don't like his attitude in general and his sense of humour is just not my cup of tea. Since he gave BTD a 2 and UV a 3 I really can't take his scores serious, that's simply ridiculous. But on a more general note – when I was younger I always thought that music reviews are important and that it's fun to trash "bad" albums (= albums I don't like). But nowadays I think it's just a waste of time to watch someone critizing an artists works – if I don't like a band I move on. Life's too short for boring music. A harsh review imho says more about the "flaws" of the reviewer's perception than about the shortfalls of an album... Yes, maybe LFL would've been an even better album if Lana had left out 2 songs (f.ex. SB and IMF) and if Coachella had no cheap trap beats, so that probably blocks her from getting 10/10 reviews in the media like Lorde got. But that's just personal taste and if Fontano doesn't like Lana – so what? We love her and that's all that matters.
  14. Yes that's really a short set. Last year at Montreux Jazz Festival (where she had an evening show on her own, so it's not a normal festival) she played over 90 mins (including the Salvatore accappella) and that's what I would expect from a Lana concert regarding how many songs she has written and recorded. She could literally have an entire tour playing a new set of songs every evening! I remember a few years back R.E.M. rehearsed about 100 songs they would play on their tour, so every gig was different.
  15. It's the user score that dropped from 9.2 yesterday to 8.0 today on metascore. Obiously a bunch of 0's from naysayers came in... (I can't take anyone seriously who gives LFL (or most other albums, not only Lana's) a 0. Some claim that they liked Lana's music before – how on earth can this album get a 0 than? I can understand if someone is a bit disppointed by her new album (I am not, I love it!) so a 5 or 6 could be appropiate, but a 0? C'mon! Those are scores obviously only given to bring down the general score.)
  16. CatchTheBreeze

    Charli XCX

Would be great if I could get them too - thank you!
  17. So LFL will probably not enter at #1 in the UK: http://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/the-beautiful-souths-paul-heaton-jacqui-abbott-are-set-to-claim-their-first-number-1-album-as-a-duo__19757/
  18. Ah, I really wish I could be there too. I like going to concerts at the Brixton Academy, it's such a cool place.
  19. It's weird – I really don't like "Summer bummer" when listening to the album as a whole but now I listen to SB as a standalone song and it's a pretty dope and cool track! (Just doesn't quite fit the flow of the album for me.)
