I think it's cool. It's a cover btw:
-
I think they're great! Really looking forward to their album.
-
I'd totally be here for it!
-
The new Roxiny single is awesome:
-
For me it's (and possibly forever will be) Ride, Cola and Gods & Monsters. Just perfect songs. At the moment I'd chose 13 Beaches, Music To Watch Boys To and Big Eyes.
-
Oh no, the outtakes are gone already. Were they full songs or just snippets?
-
Well Lana seems to be happier than the years before so probably that's where some of her fire (rage/disenchantement/...) went. I'm totally here for some of her darker sounds (like "13 Beaches", or "Gods & Monsters") but only if she really feels like it. I'd hate if she'd pretend being moody just for pleasing some fans and selling records to lonely and desperate people (like me ...

Lust For Life - Post-Release Discussion Thread + Poll
CatchTheBreeze replied to Elle's topic in Post-Release Threads
The melody is really great but I think many people here just don't like the (cheap) production/trap beats. The song could've been awesome if it was executed like "Change" (sparse instrumentation, no beats). -
To me Paradise is an album, it even was nominated for the Grammy as "best pop album", so... AKA *technically* is not an Lana Del Rey-album since she had a different stage name at that time bit I just count all of her albums she made so to me the next record will be LDR7. And I don't care how everyone else is counting her works.
-
Yes! And the song "Flipside" and some other tracks from UV too. Love Mazzy Star btw.
-
Good to see she hasn't lost her sense of humor!

So any news if Lana's okay or was she hurt? -
So finally I'm awake (got a little bit wasted after the show with some friends – I really loved yesterday's show! Cat Power was a great way to start the evening (and you could hear that she was some kind of inspiration for Lana), and Lana herself gave a great performance (almost 110 mins). These are my + and – of the show. Positive: - Gods & monsters! - Change! - Yayo! - Honeymoon! - almost all of the songs. :-) - Lana's voice was great on most of the tracks which weren't from BTD - the visual effects really added to the whole experience - the audience was attentive during the music (especially during the silent songs) so no annoying screaming all the way (okay I was in 15th row or so – probably it was different in the front rows) - she had a lot of interaction with the front rows (which was great for them; maybe not too great for the rest of the people Negative: - the overall sound wasn't that great, but that was probably due to the huge arena so it was to be expected; the quiet songs sounded awesome nevertheless - too many songs from BTD! - Lana only sang half of some of the lyrics on the BTD songs and let the background singers/tracks or the audience fill in the rest - sometimes it seemed as if she was a little bit bored by those songs. - too many effects on her voice on some of those louder songs – why, Lana? Your voice is so beautiful, it doesn't need (too much of) those gimmicks. - and her vocal delivery on "National anthem" was pretty weak. Just let this song go from your setlist forever, Lana. So overall I enjoyed the experience a lot, although it wasn't my favourite show of her's (that has to be the 2016 at the Montreux Jazz Festival). I just hope that she will go back to smaller venues in the future.

It's a tough decision but these are my Marina favourites: 1. Bubblegum Bitch 2. Froot 3. Hermit the Frog 4. Sex yeah 5. Shampaign 6. Savages 7. Teen Idle 8. Hollywood 9. Obsessions 10. Scab & Plaster

I like this song with its cinematic trip hop sound:

Yes, that's really sick and scary...

It's really cool that Lana changes her setlist so much on this tour. I'd love to get the one above when she'll be playing Berlin in April but I'm pretty sure there will be some other songs. But I'm fine with whatever songs she'll be peforming (as long as there aren't more tracks from BTD included!). -

Instead that it's not "note by note the same at each stop" since Lana added "Get Free" this time. I'm pretty sure the set list will change (a bit) over the next few weeks/months. -
This is looking interesting, thanks, will check it out too!

Radiohead Sues Lana for Copyright Infringement on "Get Free"
CatchTheBreeze replied to reputation's topic in Latest News
That's just the "normal" internet attention economy working here – when something's got noticed by a bunch of people a lot of other people jump on the bandwagon and try to milk it for clicks too. I hate that tbh. -

If my memory serves me right it was a british tabloid which reported the "sue" thing first, way before Lana tweeted anything...? This is pretty confusing right now. Maybe Lana should've kept silent about all this so that the newspapers would do the fighting and wording... -

Haha so they say Lana made it up? Kinda funny (not really). But maybe it was a move to boost sales for both artists
