Where can I get a copy? Are there legit copies out there? I know it was never released as a physical cd, but I assume that electronic iTunes copies can be traded, bought and sold. As someone who has his own copyrighted material and would like to get royalties some day I'm not a huge fan of not giving artists/authors/etc their fair due.

Love you songs and her singing. Her lyrics mean something and are genuine. She has a style and look about her that is very sexy, but classy. Her music is unique. Part lounge, part hip-hop, part rock, but never boring. She's like a pop torch singer with real lyrics. Plus she's so damn beautiful and so nice to her fans.

I like the idea of Lana working with Taylor Swift and Ke$ha. That would be awesome.

Mmmmm. Good question. I would ask her to please consider a North American Tour with stops in Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, and Detroit, Cleveland and Toronto. I would ask what she wanted to do first and try my best to make her happy fulfill her wishes. I wouldn't force her to do anything. First and foremost would be her happiness. I would tell her how awesome she is and win her heart and make passionate love to her all day.

I'm a latecomer. I read about her in rolling stone, but it was after her SNL peformance which I did not see that caught my attention. I read the reviews and saw she was a popular search on yahoo. I saw the SNL performances and liked them and then I went right to video games on youtube and then I went and bought born to die when it was released. I bought the target edition and immediately loved her music.

Yes, but I doubt she's sing the First Noel like Born to Die. LOL. In a way her lounge act persona fits in nice with a Christmas album with some traditional Christmas hymns on one side and torchy Christmas songs on the other side. Gee, I'm showing how old I am by talking like they still make vinyl records.

Thanks, Yes I'd say religion has played or plays an important part of her life. She has lyrics referencing her Roman Catholicism. She's not over the top like Madonna and Lady Gaga though which is refreshing. Catholic artists like Lana, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Sinead O'Connor tend to pay more detail to visual images in the videos and in the look they send out. The music, art, fashion, video, photos, and mood tend to be more of a package deal. Like the Catholic Church has a greater emphasis on the visual and musical and spiritual. Go to a Catholic Church and compare it to a Protestant Church and Catholic churches place a greater emphasis on the visual with statues, icons, candles, colors, mosaics, lighting (cinematography) and incense. There's a whole package deal. I don't think someone like Taylor Swift can ever make a video or production as visually sophisticated as Lana. Lizzie adopted a new name to send an image associated with her music. At confirmation you choose a confirmation name and when some people enter the priesthood or a religious order they often adopt a totally new name to signify their new life. Maybe I'm over analyzing, but religion whenever or not it's a big part of her life now is an obvious influence on her as an artist.

What's the source of the pictures? An old facebook page? Myspace? I don't think speculating about drug use adds up to much in my opinion. What matters is how she is in the here and now. Yes her experiences make for some pretty good lyrics and music, but as someone who was a heavy drinker you can use alcohol and drugs a great deal and not be a skid row addict. A lot people can be functional drug users and alcoholics.

Root Beer is all over the US. Many states have their own local root beer brands. The most popular brands are Mug, Barq's, A&W, and a lot of local brands like Frosty's and Sprecher and Faygo. You need to get it in a bottle or draft. Some places have it in draft. Its flavor is from the sassafras root with other flavors put in depending on the company. If you want to make sweet with Lana offer her some root beer. I'm sure she'd appreciate the touch of America in Europe.
