I am so excited for Lasso

I'm still shocked tbh. I would've bet my life savings that she would have won at least 1 award last night This really is embarrassing for the Grammys and cements the fact that they are an out-of-touch popularity contest. They've hated her from day one, and they refuse to admit that they were wrong about her. They know that it's impossible to deny her artistic achievements, hence the multiple nominations, but they will not give her the satisfaction of a win. I'm so happy she doesn't play their game, she will always be too good for the industry.

I listened to all of the AOTY's this weekend and it's honestly wild how much better Lana's album is than the rest. Sadly I don't think she will win the top award because the Grammy's aren't really about artistic achievement, but she is lightyears ahead of the pack.

As if they are not televising Lana Del Rey winning her first Grammy

I've always loved this song but hearing Pink Champagne made it even more special. Like obviously Pink Champagne is a much better song, but it's genuinely heartbreaking and Lana didn't release it for a reason. The lyrics are so sad and personal, so the fact that a decade later she repurposed it into such a warm and loving song is really meaningful.
