For some reason I'm thinking of The Pierces album You & I, and some songs from their 13 Tales album like It Was You. I think I need a bit more of a softer edge if it's not gonna actually just be rock.

The vocals in those two songs would create a really nice polarity between "Rock" Candy "Sweet"

Edit: just remembered a couple of years ago she bought some of those tiny chameleons. Must be her thing huh I remember the aesthetic snake trend on tumblr. I didn't think that back then it was really encouraging people to buy snakes but if that isn't what chucks story is doing then idk what it is.

Not that I'm going to put energy into this but Angels Forever, Forever Angels sounds like it would fit the title nicely. Disney + has these all movies in timeline order (but no Incredible Hulk), and I've started watching them all again. I had only watched all pre-2014 timeline films once so now it's all making sense again! I completely forgot so much and the movements of the tesseract and the reality stone always confused me till now! Ok seriously Blind Belief might be in their top 10 songs. Far from Heaven makes me feel really emotional because it's got that power that feeling that Amy's solo work has. It reminds me of her Sally's Song cover. And I can't get enough of the electronic sounds in Artifact Agreed with the mixing. Amy's voice is often too quiet. I don't understand.

If it's passed already I hope it went really well if not, I would just rewatch her old performances and note how she acted when on centre-stage. I think she did pretty extravagant makeup on the Paradise tour but tbh, just something classic like red lips and an elegant dress would work for Y&B!

Can't believe I'm saying this but the instrumentals of NFR are gonna be better than COCCs. It's cool tho cause Lanas voice really did THAT all through this album. I actually got what I wished for

The Bitter Truths best songs are all the ones that were not singles. I especially love Artifact/The Turn, Broken Pieces Shine, Far From Heaven and Blind Belief. I honestly think I could like these songs more than most on Self Titled, but it's still pretty weak compared to Fallen and The Open Door. I love a lot of the electronic production on this record though. It's like back to their old demos and Synthesis.

Definitely, and I do think dbjag will be timeless, or at least nostalgic in a good way, 10-20 years from now. In some ways this album feels pretty close to BTD and I can't explain why, or maybe it's closer to AKA. the writing maybe.
