  1. carmen demo and 'song of myself' is lana reciting a verse from the walt whitman poem over the cola instrumental.
  2. this reminds me of when paloma faith lied about her age, turns out she's not 28, instead she's 32. but with lana, it's only 1 year. the thing about the 27 club kind of would make sense. ah well. is there seriously a difference between 27 and 28 anyway? i'd be more shocked if she turned out to be 40.
  3. Oh yeah, I also don't know where to put So Legit either.
  4. i literally have no idea what to do with 'jfk, hollywood, starry eyed, angels forever, television heaven, 'black beauty'. help pls
  5. my mum was obsessed with this. i remember when we went on holiday and it was on in the morning lol.
  6. it's down to others what they do, i don't really care. but i do quite like the ride monologue one. i don't think i'd get a lyric, i do want tattoos though - just probably not something lana related.

    Book Thread!

when i get all my witchy and occult books back from the boxes they're in, i'll post them. my library is mostly non-fiction, but i believe i have some old books from when i was very young.
  10. oh jesus! that sounds awful. at the manchester apollo it was kind of spread out, which was good. the venue still sucked though, gotta say. i do understand what everyone's saying about pushing, it is annoying when people go in front of you, but like, everyone wants to be there surely.
  11. if people weren't constantly waving their phones around like lunatics, it'd be far easier to see at concerts. that's why i push. not like 'boom get the fuck out of my way' kind of push, i just sort of circle around people slowly. although, at the lana gig, some very nice people kindly took me to the front and said i could go in front of them. i politely asked because one guy was so tall and i'm so not. i don't push people's backs or whatever, that's plain rude, i just circle around everybody. good thing i'll never have to worry about any of this since i'm british and all the bands i like play over here. i don't know how arrangements even work in the states in regards to seating, but i know it sucks over here. i like standing, you get way more up and personal with the artist. people putting their phones up is far worse and i seriously think it should get banned.
  12. i don't do seats at gigs, never ever. sure it gets people mad, but i want to see lana. i have to get nearer the front anyway because as i've said before, i'm tiny. and the venues in the uk, when you sit it's so awkward and you can't see a damn thing. people always push at gigs anyway, and i get why.
  13. christ! it's just something i've never bothered with. i always get standing tickets for shows and try and push my way to the front. it's been fool proof so far, but i have no idea what concerts are like in the states. i imagine the lana ones are more rowdy there since lana rarely plays in the US.
  14. oh god, that must be so terrifying though! i nearly got trampled on because i'm pretty tiny, but overall i was fine...just roasting from the heat. i've never waited for a show before, not like for a long time tbh. what's it actually like?
  15. yeah true, i suppose it could be different in england. but if you are going to wait for hours, be careful. inside the venue one girl fainted as well, my mum had to rescue her.
  16. i got to the venue 5 minutes before it started, and i managed to get close to the front and speak to her. don't bother spending hours waiting, it's not worth it tbh.
  17. tbh i'm gonna call one soul edge and one soul calibur
  18. ipod - methamphetamines (fave lana song) iphone - switchblade (fave heartsrevolution song)
  19. russia is becoming more and more like germany in the 30s...
  20. what assholes. still, at least i have crystal castles
  21. why have i never posted in this thread? what is wrong with me!? anyway, last week i got soulcalibur V as a present, it wasn't bad but they could have done bad. they shouldn't have only focused on pyrrha and patrokolos, i wanted to know about all the other newcomers too. and the whole thing seemed like one big incest fest in story mode. and there's no cassandra more importantly. but anyway, the soul series is brilliant, it's so unique compared to all the other fighting games and it's always fun to play. if anyone has a ps3 and wants to battle me on IV or V go ahead. i main with amy and cassandra on IV and i main with viola on V
  22. in scarface i always here 'life is death and woe is life' that would be a great lyric though
