i don't think much of lorde, not because of her age (i'm 15 as most of you know), but because her music just doesn't appeal to me in general. i think what she's forgetting is that, sometimes women like to play a submissive role sometimes, and there really is no harm in that, as long as she is consenting. lana is not here to be a role model, she wants to create art, not influence 13 year old girls. i think lorde is just trying to be somewhat controversial, but it's silly. i'm a feminist but i see nothing wrong with lana wanting to be dominated in a relationship, that's her thing, and it's not for anyone else (let alone some tumblr teenager) to say that lana is unhealthy for young girls. sorry to waffle on, but it's annoying, lana has never tried to be a role model, she's not said anything of the sort, so what is lorde even on about? absolutely! i wear short skirts because i feel comfortable in them. they're not an invitation for men to wolf whistle at me or to rape me.

i think i might just put all mine into one big unreleased compilation type thing. and can i have an alternate version of hit and run please? it's the only thing i think i haven't got.

she really changed me as a person (i'm a teenager, no judging ), she gave me a different perspective on things. i wouldn't be the same person i am if it weren't for lana. i truly relate to what she says a lot of the time, especially born to die, i know what it's like to worry about people all the time, and i was overjoyed when i found someone who is like me. i think me and lana are very similar in terms of our personalities, i love having different personas and alter egos, it's so fun. she's inspired me with my art, my music, my writing, just so many things. and then there's the fact that i think lana is a bit of an artistic genius. she's a beautiful woman, both inside and out and i just love so many things about her. seeing her really did make my year, she's the only celebrity i've met with any interest, everything about her interests me. oh god sorry, i got a bit carried away with my fangirling

her shyness is just absolutely adorable. the fact she sings about video games her new york accent. her gangsta-ness. the fact that she's so arty and yet the rest of the stuff i hear in the charts all sounds the same. she's such a kind and warm person, i got such good vibes from her. the fact she looks even better in person than she does on photos. her handwriting, her songs always sound different to each other. the way she says 'man' in kill kill.

i bloody love maha maha, come when you call me, catch and release and i don't wanna go. i think the album born to die is absolute perfection, i wouldn't change anything about it. it's the sound that got me into lana, it's dark, cinematic and moody, i love it. i much prefer it to wannabe-rap stuff like 'hundred dollar bill'. i think her lana del rey look is perfect. it fits her music, it fits her vintage appeal, it's better than damaged bleach blonde hair. i think paradise is just as good as born to die, i actually really love the new yayo. the only track i could live without is bel air.
