First of all, learn how to type properly, second of all, hopeless fountain kingdom rejects? Please, do you have any taste at all? Like, I wouldn't say this is her best album but calling almost all of the songs hopeless fountain kingdom rejects is stupid. Even the songs I didn't like on Lust for Life are way better than Hopeless Fountain Kingdom anyway.

Ok.... so i've been a member on this forum for a few years and havent rejoined your lil cute club... until today!
this album has brought me back to Lana and her world for the first time since Ultraviolence dropped into our teary laps. I've watched you all from afar getting messy as fuck this whole year in anticipation for this work of art, and even though I havent heard all the songs, this record has given me Born to Die butterflies!

I've heard half the record... the rest I am saving for sunday night with my bestie and our boyfriends (who I've put on a strict no-Lana diet) and were gonna drink whiskey and gin by the campfire in her back yard under the stars. A night of stars, magic and love!

    I CANNOT FUCKING WAIT!!

    Love to you all!!

GBA is perfectly executed sorry you fail to recognise greatness.

The production on Heroin is insane. Literally everything I ever wanted from her or any other musician

4 stars from the Guardian in a very positive piece. Pleased because I was looking forward most to their review.

"...in the current climate of laborious genre-hopping and guest vocals on throwaway chart tracks, Del Rey has remained a mystery. She is consistent in her aesthetic, adding zeitgeisty elements to her sound without being dictated by them. And for that reason she exists in a lonesome, luxurious league of her own. It’s not why she’s smiling, but it should be."

    4.5/5 from Attitude Magazine

"...for those who have been at any time captivated by her work, this continuation of her journey includes some of her best material. We don’t need Lana to change it up too much when she’s crafted herself her very own genre."

    Positive review from GQ!

"At a time when some of pop’s biggest acts are suffering from an identity crisis (ahem, Katy Perry), Lana Del Rey’s self-awareness blossoms throughout Lust For Life. She treads new and familiar ground and although the album is not a masterpiece, the foundations are there for Del Rey to build on for her next LP. Like Lorde's Melodrama, Lust For Life is an accomplished piece of art, an antidote to the banal tunes permeating the charts and one of the best albums released this year so far."

An album. Heroin is my favourite Lana song ever and I'm not being hyperbolic. A psych electronica rock pop alt post apocalyptic future retro masterpiece. The Mason references and the images of junkies spraying the walls w their blood make me shiver. It just makes everything else she's done sound so irrelevant in comparison

World At War is inexplicably sexy and seductive. The bridge gets me hard. Especially when she sings "when the world was at waar mmm". I'm shaking

GBA is just so beautiful and melancholic. The second part of the chorus is especially gorgeous.

Get Free is a brilliant closer that I feel kinda lays the ground for her next record.  Also, I love how high in the mix her vocals are during the "OUT OF THE BLACK..." part. It gives the song another dimension. She's an INCREDIBLE producer. Blown away by her vision, genuinely

It kinda annoys me how underrated WIld Mustang is. It's hypnotising. LOVE the whistles. I feel it'd have easily been a Lizzy song had she sung it in a higher, Lizzier tone.

In My Feelings is sucha highlight poor the peeps who pretend they dislike that delicious and addictive faux trap beat aah. The bridge is insane. Such an anthem. The lyrics are fucking amazing and hilarious. "I'm crying while I'm cumming" is such a good line. I'm gonna quote it w every chance I get from now on

All in all I'm very satisfied and happy with album. I honestly expected the worst after Coachella. Glad Legend proved me wrong <3

Also, she better exploit her relationship w Gerald. A Taylor Swift tea.

There’s a story that goes with the song, where Del Rey calls up Lennon to tell him that she thought his part was perfect, and he says that he’s so happy because no one’s ever said that to him before. He’s John Lennon’s son, he’s lived his entire life in his father’s shadow, and Lana Del Rey has just given him his greatest ever compliment. There’s a tragedy in that, don’t you think?
“I told him, ‘I’m the one who’s honoured, I’m the lucky one; so I just want you to remember that, Sean, I’m singing with you.’”
    What a sweetheart!!

I just listened for the first time at the stroke of midnight, driving around downtown Minneapolis and I AM FUCKIN BLOWN AWAY. The album did, indeed, fuck my ENTIrE shit up. I hope Lana forgives us all for being such brats this whole time because she truly outdid herself with this one. I know we say it all the time, but we really don't deserve her lol. This album has a much clearer and more decipherable storyline than any of her previous albums. It's obvious but it also still leaves room for speculation and nuance. The ultra 60s shangri-las vibes from LFL and Get Free are excellent bookends. Get Free sonically imbibes LFL but the lyrics show the growth she's gone through since the beginning of the album. Ugh, perfect. And Change seriously sounds like a Lennon song. That's a huge compliment coming from someone who would probably literally eat John Lennon's shit (me). I cried so hard when I listened to it. And Sean and Lana sound so good together in Tomorrow Never Came. That was truly two worlds colliding for me, like a fuckin dream. I can't get over it. There are so many folky, hippie era moments, from the sassy hard-hitting political bits to the folky singer-songwriter bits. I wasn't expecting the album to be such a thorough tribute to the 60s and 70s. It's retro future for sure, but in a way more thoughtful and involved way than I anticipated. Also, we got EVERY kind of Lana vocal on here. We are so spoiled oh my god. I have officially PERISHED    I can't wait to spend every spare moment of my life absorbing this album over the coming days.

Her best album to be honseat, she sounds free, like not strained to one specific theme or aesthetics. She's all over the place and doing it cohesively. Never expected her to go back to hip hop beats, noneless spreading it trough the whole album in bits and pieces in non hip hop songs.
In my Feelings is the new Art Deco and Brooklyn Baby. Also it makes me wanna be a stripper lawd
Heroin is fucking amazing. The second half of the song is a full on trip to the 70s. UV is shooked. And those "come on" Lizzy Grant coos omfg
