Also I've heard people say that the single will probably drop on March 3rd and then be sent out to radios on the 7th? Is it also correct that on SNL the performers have to perform two songs? I do not live in the US so I have only seen short viral clips of the programme but I don't know the format. But if it is true .. we could be getting at least two new songs very soon!!

Well I'm not a 1975 fan (but I of course appreciate them as artists ) but you stans have to hear this! They performed live at the 'Brit Awards' and during their performance the messages popped up like from in 'The Sound' video. The pink ones with white text that are quotes from their critics. But loads of people on twitter - and even serious news articles - think it was a hack! I'm not joking. Even people on twitter who say they are fans of The 1975 say they are outraged by the 'hack'. Maybe they are just fans of them when they are in the charts and on the radio? I'm not saying that in a nasty way, but that is actually what is happening. So anyways, it's actually promoted the band and the music award lots. The #brithacks and #The1975 hash tags no doubt treaded and news articles are being published about it, along with youtube videos and things.

BØRNS , Hozier or maybe The Neighbourhood? Although I think Lana would be featured more on their album instead of hers.

I agree with you, although it's a lovely (pun most shamelessly intended ) song it is 'safe'. However this is the single therefore it is made to appeal to the widest audience. I think the rest of the album will be much more abstract and Lana esque. A bit like HBTB, I really liked it but to me it felt a bit safe, but if you compare it to the slow jazy sounds of the album, you can see why it was chosen as the main single for commercial appeal.

I actually really liked Honeymoon and it is my second favourite Lana album after Ultraviolence.

Ok I've said this before but ... I am really hoping that if Lana does cover on this album it will be a David Bowie song. He is know for having lots of songs about Space (Starman/Space Oddity/Life on Mars?/Ashes To Ashes .. to name a few) and he was very popular in the seventies. It would go with the vibe of the album (from what we know) really well. I would be so excited for Lana to do a cover of a Bowie song and put her twist on it. The snippet of Space Oddity in TLY who divine in my op.

I actually really liked Lana's cover of 'Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood'.

'To begin with ... all you need is love' This might've been said before but my interpretation is that she's saying that when you fall in love, or just try to be loving to people, love is all you need. But then selfish desires might take over and you want other things (money, power glory e.g). I think this album will represent that. It will start with hopeful tracks of love but then turn darker as the desires form. But I hope the album will end on a happy note, a realisation that love is really all you need or something like that.
