you know what let me still drag her ass it was acceptable for the pitchfork 2019 performance... ok she had sound issues fine. it was FINE again for the first show she did last year... it had been years since performed, WHATEVER. but after a dozen shows she still can not sing to save her life? or fix these "sound issues"? that's what SOUNDCHECKS are for, but i can tell she don't show up for those because this can not be the result of someone practising and putting in the effort to make a high quality show. even her band is struggling at points. what does she do seriously? does she just give them all the songs to learn and shows up to the stage and expects it to go great? these shows are giving soundchecks with the amount of times she restarts a song or one of the band members is playing wrong or her vocals can't be heard (i bet her chain smoking ass hasn't trained or warmed up her voice in years)... people need to stop making excuses for this, y'all are paying money to go see this woman act an unprofessional fool on stage while putting on her moody victim mask being like "oooh this is the worst show i've ever done" well whose fault is that mary? has she ever said sorry or apologised for any of these messy ass shows? #jailskyferreira

as someone who used to love calling her junkie and i'm sure she is no stranger to sniffing around, there are a couple things i learnt over the years: her last few struggling defenders will start a fight over any mentions of drug abuse, so it's not worth the headache to Ellen and the #JailSkyFerreira movement although it's fun drama! another thing is, blaming something other than HER just achieves what she has been doing herself for the last decade. i have not once seen this girl take ownership or responsibility for anything that's going on around her and as can be seen on my previous post even in 2010 she had the same deflecting and blaming language. everyone in LA and the music industry are on something, whether it's the little baggies or the pharma drugs/pills or the green devil... i would have partied with sky ferreira in her younger days, do some molly and drag her ass to a studio have some fun, my point is that y'all need to stop trying to come up with the perfect excuse that explains these girls actions and behaviour when she was doing the exact same thing in 2010, everyone at the time completely believed her when she kept saying she was being shelved/delayed, before there was any "lyme disease", before there was any white lines and black beaches, and look i'm sure capitol was no easy to deal with but she has been brainwashing us into blaming the big bad label for over a decade and I WON'T HAVE ANY OF IT!

they are representatives. they do PR for artists. they secure brand deals and arrange public appearances like attendance to fashion shows and other events. they have nothing to do with music or releases. they are not management. she also has a publishing deal with Third Side Music. it just means they can globally license and publish her music to make money for her (and get a cut themselves). they also don't have anything do about getting her to record or release music. i don't know if she has a manager or management team. she sounds unmanageable. she must have some sort of tour manager or someone at Capitol/Third Side helping her out with booking shows and interviews, but that seems to be it. i seriously doubt she has any sort of solid team and i imagine it's due to her behaviour and her affinity toward firing everyone. when your label thinks you are difficult to work with, you act like a spoiled brat and fire professionals in your team and lose someone like Elton John who used to manage you, maybe you're the problem.

oh you can tell she is that poet girl with the way she just can't say things like they are and has to make elaborate metaphors and sort of cover up the meaning in a beautiful way whenever she is explaining something, that's why she is the best songwriter of our generation like...- 347 replies

she means she's not fully grounded in her sense of self to go for a romantic relationship again. and she says if you don't feel connected to who you are as a person, truly know yourself, then real love is unreachable/far away -

[SINGLE] Say Yes To Heaven + Sped Up Remix + 7" Picture Disc - OUT NOW
111 replied to hotshot2am's topic in New Releases
rick and kieron have like 100+ mixes of say yes to allah (not exaggerating), the stint version you hear is actually mostly rick's production, stint just adds those really huge drums to whatever he's producing. so when you say it's closest to stint's honeymoon version, that is actually rick's og version just without the big drums and a few other little details.
