I mean that's just a matter of opinion. personally I love hm.. I'm just very sick of these artists that all sound exactly the same- like it's hard to tell a halsey sound from a Bebe Rexha song.. It's just boring af to me. At least Lanas voice is different from most singers and she doesn't write 'trying to be edgy' lyrics

lol i studied film photography for 3 years- I'm not an expert but I'm also not an idiot. im not saying all her work is horrible.. but chuck seems to be at a high school level with her photography. I've seen maybe 3 or 4 actually decent photos of hers.. so like 90% of the work I've seen of hers has just flat out sucked. she doesn't understand exposure or how to really even use half the cameras she uses, that's why they come out so out of focus and grainy. if u like her work thats fine, but i just think the vast majority of photographers out there could do a better job- lana is just not willing to change or pay a real photographer.

tbh I'm on both sides. Lana is here to create art, she has the right to release it how she wants to when she wants to.. I'm not an artist; but as a hoe that fcks w/ art hoes I can say that artists don't owe shit to anyone- even before she was famous, she was releasing stuff just so that she can show off art that she created and that she's proud of, I feel like a lot of fans don't really respect that and feel the need to take advantage of her and beg her ass for more. Buuut, on the other side- it is kind of annoying that she refuses to promote her work. It just makes me feel like she's not proud of what she does and does not care to draw in more fans- it's like she's just releasing music to be like "here u little bitches, now stop complaining". I do also wish that she at least ATTEMPTED to promote her stuff and get out a better image of herself.. cuz like it's kinda annoying that whenever I say I'm a lana fan, people still reply with "oh yeh that depressing bitch that was on snl that one time"

We need a photographer that understands what the rule of thirds is.. Sorry to be shitting on them but like a high school art student could do a better job than those fools. I want some real hq, well done, and just overall aesthetically pleasing photos this era. No more pictures taken on a camera that chuck got for $5 at a thrift shop and no more crappy "vintage" filters they got off instagram.... If lana wants to seem legit, she need to spend some of the millions of $$$ she makes on a DECENT cover photo..

Woodkid is actually one of my favorite artists (up there next to lana and kali uchis) and I just remember reading that comment of his in complete shock. I know we haven't heard lanas side of the story on that one.. but like woodkid at least seems like an incredibly nice guy and he did a lot of favors with lana.. no to mention he won her a music video of the year award.. so it just seems shady that she cut him off like that and hasn't seemed to make an effort to contact him since then.

tbh I wouldn't be surprised if we hear a lot of songs on this album that are about Barrie.. even though a lot of people see it as a 'stretch', I'm just saying I wouldn't be surprised at all if this is about barrie.. Just like looking at the overall timeline, if hm came out around a year after they broke up, and none of the songs on hm seemed to be about barrie (probably bc she wanted to respect their relationship), it would make sense for her to talk about it now seeing as they both seem to be over it.

BAR is reminding me a lot of pawn shop blues and some other Lizzy era songs.. anyone else?? Even towards the end with the overlapping voices really seems like its almost under produced. Kinda hoping this is just the demo because if she's going for "big, clean sound", this isn't really it. Still love it, but just not what I expected.

The Spanish UMG site only says "later this year", that literally means it could be next week or it could be in november.. I'm not sure where anyone is getting october from????? Also, what artist in their right mind would put out a single 7 months before the album comes out.. I can see it coming out in the next 2 months while there's still hype.

I'm actually a huge ariana fan lmao but yeh I don't think they would collab.. like I can see them being distant friends but their voices would not work well together and I also think Lanas a lil too mature for her.

Honeymoon is my favorite album.. it sounds so mature and I can relate to it so much.. like to me it seems like a big growing point for her. And I also love that it almost has this like Italian vacation feel- especially in Salvatore (duh) and Terrence loves you. It's just such a beautiful and poetic album.

I really agree. I wouldn't mind maybe 1 or 2 collabs but everyone has made it seem like half the songs will be featuring other artists.. I wouldn't mind Abel or ASAP, but tbh I feel like Lanas voice would not work well with many other female artists- even if I loved the artist I just think Lanas voice is too unique and wouldn't mash with voices like Adele or Marina

@The Blackest Day read my second comment.. She possibly wrote the song back in august or september of 2015- yes, trump was in the race at that point but his candidacy was a huge joke.. plus, lana, back in February 2016, made a comment to Elle magazine about how she needed to study all the candidates more to form an opinion on them- and this included trump.. so I don't think Lana was very politically involved in the campaign up until very recently. (as in the summer of 2016)

I don't think it's wrong- and usually I'm way more open to interpretation- but considering eclipse had the lyrics back in April and Lana stated she was already working on music immediately after hm was released, I just feel like the song was probably written before 2016 even started and I just really doubt she would be making any serious political statements like that before trumps campaign (or really any republican) was taken seriously. I feel like we may hear some political references in the rest of the album, but I personally am not hearing it in Love. also i feel lik i connect 2 the phrase "eat my ass" so lik u cnt judge me

I feel like it wont be space themed just because the whole space thing only really applies to the love music video (not that I know what the rest of the album is like, but im just assuming). I feel like it will be very 70s themed, kinda like how she looks in the promo poster; incorporating daisys and sunshine and hippie shyt. Either way, I hope it doesn't resemble the hm cover
