I could see him giving it a 5, docking points for Brite Lites and Gramma but loving the first 3 tracks and PSB I think what Melon didn't like about Lana originally is that he thought of her as a phony industry plant and that soiled his impression of her. He just didn't connect to the themes and concepts in BTD like a lot of critics didn't and just wrote her off as a fad. Now that she's evolving and showing she has lasting influence, people are coming around

That would be GIAW I love that the lyrics on this album come across as very personal to me even though I know she doesn't have writing creds on all songs. The lyrics about anxiety really ring true and IMO they humanize the songs a lot, especially because Ari doesn't give us a lot of insight into her personal life except for posting things with Pete. Some lyrics were really dumb though, like the majority of Sweetener (song) I think is kind of childish but in a cute way. And theres a lot of weird euphemisms for sex involving sweets and food that just like....dont hit it for me What are your favorite Sweetener lyrics?

Lana's titles are always creative, I think the title will be something none of us could guess. Honeymoon is probably the most predictable she's used other than Sirens

Omg I left LB for months and the Jack argument is still happening! Wig! I have to say Jack is talented and has a great ear for producing and songwriting but I have to say I don't think his style is complimentary to Lana's. I don't think Lana should steer in the direction of pure pop, Lorde or Bleachers style. But they could surprise us.
