Anybody else think Cardinal sounds like Say It Right by Nelly Furtado? Anyway, I really love this album. Get major 60s folk Mamas and the Papas vibes, it’s gorgeous!

I’ve had a little more time with the album. I’ve taken walks on my breaks while listening and it’s nice and sunny out and I think I’m catching the vibe more. It definitely does feel warm and spring like, and is more cohesive than Positions (aside from Yes And, which is the worst track on the record). I agree with the others that the production is really good. I don’t think it’s better than Dangerous Woman, Sweetener, or Thank U Next though

I dunno, I kind of agree with the others that say it’s like Positions 2.0; all of the tracks seem to run together like one long song. I really loved everything about Dangerous Woman and I guess that’s where my head is still at. Maybe it will grow on me. :-/

I haven’t really listened to much of her stuff before aside from a song in 2016, but I was pleasantly surprised with this album!

Just listened to the whole thing and I will say this - THE DELUXE TRACKS ARE SO FUCKING GOOD edited to add that Meanwhile and Coma are the standout tracks for me (and of course butterfly net!!) the drum n bass on Coma really brings me back to 20 years ago in the BEST way!

It’s weird, I feel like I had a dream about this before it happened. Anyway, I’m excited. It would be really cool if it has similar sounds to Buffalo Replaced by Mitski… such a mood. I want a dark country album, even though she mentioned she wants to go lighter and take it easy for the next record, after baring so much. I guess we will see! Also… September is the month my baby is due! Wow!

I sized up maybe bigger than I should just for extra insurance because I’ve gained some weight, and then of course since I’m pregnant I’m just gonna get bigger anyway. Hope they’re not going to be too small or too big for now. I hate spending so much and being hesitant on how they will fit…I agree, it would be nice if they let us return and get a different size if needed!!
