I feel bad reading her newest interview because one part of me always will love that Lana - the famme fatale straight out of a David Lynch movie, the "Lolita lost in the hood" that sings like a tragic character from a novel. I love all that shit - the depressive and subversive Lana with rich imagery - but I think it's time to accept that it was all a character, a persona. Maybe I love the character more than the author. I'm glad she moved on from this narrative and she's in a happy place. Right now the Lana we're seeing itsn't Lana Del Rey as we know it until now, or a comeback to Lizzie, she's on a new phase and I'm curious to see what happens next.

I'm  still not a fan of the production but I really like CWIMM. Last night was on repeat. I always doubt her but she's always capable to surprise me (that's the secret for a long relationship btw)

I feel so bad for Lana. She obviously saw her own fans criticizing and dragging her so she made the decision to clarify that she wrote it a month ago.
 
And the fact that she probably saw the great response the initial video had and thought to record it to make us happy and then she gets dragged... very sad

What i like to do when a new song comes out,  is listen to it straight away like 2 or 3 times till i know the melody pretty well. Then not listen to it for like a day or two. And then when i go back to listen to it again i've sorta forgotten what it sounds like but i desperately wanna listen to it, and then when i do i suddenly really like it.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I just listened to the song for the first time after reading everyone's comments and was expecting wayyyyy worse. Talk about drama queens. I even read one comment saying how no matter how "tragic" this album is... I mean, seriously? Everyone loved Love and LFL, and now we get one somewhat bad song and now the album will be tragic and everyone on here is "unstanning". What kind of immature, flaky fans does Lana have?
 
I guess this is what happens when your fanbase is 90% gays and immature teenagers.
 
Do your thing Lana. At least I'll be here to support you.
