Versatility is a good thing

What? Twigs was already an accomplished and well sought after dancer in London and performed on a few tours. She had a musical career outside of becoming a singer. M3LL155X is a solid EP with very good instrumentation and even on the one weak song (Glass & Patron) it was still consistent and detailed. Good to Love didn't blow me away, but her work takes time to sink in and grow rather than being instantly amazing.

I think since people really can't distinguish her face in normal everyday settings the wig gives her a symbol of anonymity. I don't think she wants to not be famous or successful (because that's what pays her bills) it's more of the "I don't want my face being judged 24/7" of "I don't want my face to be plastered over magazines forever", both of which are valid. Some people don't know what she looks like and she's been creatively covering her face for years now and I don't see it ending soon. Especially if she gets comfortable enough to tour and not see the hundreds/thousands of faces staring back at her. What I personally take from Sia doing it - 1. Making the blonde bob her trademark, it allows her to be a faceless artist and basically anyone could be under the wig. 2. It's Anti promo, but still promo. It makes people want to hear and see more even though she's creatively keeping her distance by visually separating herself from the mass images of Rih, Bey, Katy, etc being the faces of huge marketing campaigns. 3. A weird point, her vocals and personality seem extremely youthful, but she's already 40. She can't pass off as the young new pop girl if she looks older than every single one from the lips up.

These replies further illustrate my point. Everyone wants Lana to do shit she doesn't want to do and after the fluke of becoming a huge pop star she eventually just wanted to stay home and away from the spotlight and make music for herself rather than being up her fans ass trying to please them at every turn. Her career (after BTD) seems to be 100% on her terms artistically. Maybe you guys got tricked into thinking that sales/success was her main goal?

I'm kinda upset that Vic and Sia don't seem to be on Wolves. I couldn't hear them on the live stream at all. :/

I think people expect Lana to perform huge worldwide tours and do tv appearances and interact more. But in reality Lana has been this way forever, so...pressed BTD Stan it is. BTD 2012 : "Is she too nervous to perform after the SNL disaster?" Paradise 2013 : "She's doing some tv...but her tours aren't going dad rn..." UV 2014 : "Why don't we have a tour yet?" HM 2015-16 : "We need new videos...tour...something!"

Thorgy, Bob, Kim, Chi Chi and Laila are my favorite personalities so far. Derrick just doesn't seem to impress me at all. He's still Britney + talking about others making your costumes is the easiest way to flop on a design challenge. I hope he's gone within the first few weeks with Naysha and Robbie.

The bitch is finally back

I think she's joining the every 2-3 years crew honestly. I don't expect to hear another FULL album next year since she's more in control of her process now that she has 8 albums under her belt.
