Sorry but i couldn't just pick two:

    Hauting

    "livin on bread and oranges..."

    I adore this whole shoot

My favourite two are actually both from the Vogue shoot which is kind of funny, but she really looked gorgeous during the entire shoot.

The first picture makes me smile every time I see it - she looks to happy and playful.. it's the cutest thing on earth.

The second just shows what a STUNNER Lana is. She's the most beautiful woman, I swear. It's on my iPhone case

I'm remember driving in Hollywood while listening to radio and passing by this cemetery then hollywood boulevard and the sun was setting. It was fucking fantastic.

When I listen to radio, I feel like I'm taking a swim in a pool of warm melted chocolate while birds of paradise fly all around me.   Does that make sense?

Using pop culture was probably a bad choice on my term, but what you said is exactly what I meant.  The OP who said America has no culture, in my understanding, means not a lot historically old originated from America. So pretty much what @@elllipsis said.

brite lites -- it gets better and better every time i hear it. she's singing like a strung out beauty queen with only one goal in mind (fame), which i think explains the repitition of the lyrics. there's hints of desperation and vampishness in her voice, and when she throws in the the verse with the 'trampoline', she adds an additional layer of tragedy / tainted innocence. simple, yet complex. not to mention its catchy as hell and seemingly impossible to get tired of

I actually think Burning Desire is quite underrated by fans. But I was listening to it today, and it's actually a really amazing song- and really a VERY different side of Lana than we're used to. It's like... a very dominating side of her that is super powerful and full of yearning.

    Driving In Cars With Boys
This is even underrated by myself. I don't listen to it enough and nobody appreciates what a gorgeous song it is.

    1. Velvet Crowbar - it's an amazingly raw, emotional look at two different kinds of addiction: chemicals and relationships. I feel like it leaked and people forgot about it, but it really speaks to me personally. Her vocals on the last chorus are gritty, animalistic perfection and the instrumentation is classic and bluesy. It really just displays a stunning maturity and a wealth of experiences that people tend to overlook whilst mocking some of her more mundane, pop-tailored work.

    2. Playing Dangerous - can't defend this one lyrically (or the wretched Last Tango in Paris jazz sample), but somehow her vocals on the "I'm in love again" part are irresistible.

    3. Last Girl on Earth - Cleopatra, Caesar, cherry cola and cigarettes. What more could you ask for?

    4. The demo of "For K Part 2," also called "Rehab" - the strings in the beginning give me shivers, and the repetition of "c'mon" is so moving. Finally, "you won't hear no" is one of her most brilliantly understated lyrics. Just think about it.

    5. YOU AND ME - it's the sonic equivalent of looking at hazy Polaroids whilst shooting up. PERFECTION.
