  1. Eh, there’s lots of celebs I wouldn’t recognize or have heard of either. Plus, she looked completely normal so I wouldn’t have suspected anything either.
  2. I’d literally jump and stare in disbelief if that’d happen to me lol
  3. I just noticed that I've gotten e-mails in my spam folder every time there's a new message/DM for me here on LB. Is there a way to disable automatic e-mails?`Just feels a bit unnecessary since I check LB daily anyway. Edit: Never mind, I think I've found it.

  5. When are the physical audio books supposed to be released? I can’t remember. Just wondering how long I can wait to preorder the vinyls lol.
  6. I’m still surprised to hear ex-Manson Diao members describe their time with her, how they shared pizza, had to play with her on MTV instead of Minaj, and that gala they were at. Little stories but pretty fun to know.
  7. My new profile picture!! To match my cute disco kittens signature!
  8. I’m not too surprised, she sang “Scarsborough Fair” under a whole tour after all.
  9. I lost the feeling of excitement whenever she posts on Instagram in the Norman era lol, if I see a notification in the early morning, I usually go back to sleep.
  10. I saw “Lana posted a video” and really thought we’d get something, huh
  11. I finished the third book last night. And man, it was intense. The third book really made me feel that this is a modern classic. It covers, what, ten years?? of their young lives, from their early 20’s to around their 30’s and a loooot of things happen and changes during this time. As it does for many lives in the real world too! This book didn’t make me envy them as the second one did, what they had in the second book was something I’d like to have too. Someone close to feel a connection to, even though their friendship has never been perfect. I also appreciate how fearlessly the author brings up tough subjects, I haven’t seen that in other novels before... but then again, I haven’t read that many novels for an adult audience before, most were for young adults or teens. 10/10!
  12. The Summertime Sadness outfit has been found!! https://www.instagram.com/p/CECNdXVnWc6/?igshid=1xgtz4k985t8m
  13. Thank you for checking out the thread~
  14. Ahh I didn’t see this until now, so that’s why people kept mentioning a new theme in the status updates! Looks great, thanks, Elle!
  15. Haven’t they said they’ll make a Metroid game for several years now? Or was that Pikmin? Or is it both? But yeah, I hope they’ll come up with something sometime soon, I’d love to try a Metroid game. I tried it on Wii but the controls frustrated me too much so I never finished it. Hopefully we’ll get BotW 2 next year for the 35th anniversary, and more ports too or exclusives to Switch online (I’m thinking of the old NES and SNES games, maybe they’ll add old Gameboy games too - wouldn’t that be something!) And maybe the pandemic is holding things back. I believe they let most of their staff work from home, but I’m not sure.
  16. Eh, I saw that and I don’t think it’ll happen.
  17. I’m almost done with book three (I know, I’m slow, but I’ve been putting my focus on other things too) and what I thought was really sad was that So @Nightmare, how would you translate chillo strunz?
  18. I’ve designed a few things, you can check them out at Able’s kiosk if you type in my code MA-0650-7404-9506. :3
  19. Hi! Since last year, I’ve been hooked on the fictional story about the friendship between childhood friends Elena and Lina and would love to discuss it with others who are familiar with the series too. They are four novels by Elena Ferrante, starting with “My brilliant friend”, and have been adapted for a tv-series which follows the novels pretty much identically. Two seasons of the tv-series is out so far. The story starts when the son of Elena’s childhood friend, Lina (or Lila as Elena calls her) calls to say that his mother has suddenly disappeared again, not leaving a single trace behind. This irritates Elena who then decides to write down every single thing she can remember of Lila and their lives - those memories result in the novels. The storytelling is very vivid and believable, and nothing feels made up. It’s honest and doesn’t seem to shy away from anything. It describes the poor neighborhood in Naples which both Elena and Lila came from, how they struggle to get away from there and improve their lives, feminism, romance, politics, working conditions... You name it. I personally think it’s a modern classic even if it hasn’t been published for that long - the first novel came out in 2011, I believe. Elena Ferrante’s books have been praised all over the world and I’ve even heard of the term “Ferrante Fever” because the story is so good. So! If you’ve read the books or watched the show (or done both!), I would love to discuss them with you, and if you haven’t... what are you waiting for??
  20. I wish I could give the cat memories video a thousand likes
