  1. They don’t have the shape of a typical lemon nor the yellow color. I’d say they’re oranges.
  2. I began reading Elena Ferrante’s My brilliant friend yesterday! I’m only a few pages in but it’s good so far.
  3. I need to read this now, who’s the author? Edit: never mind, a quick google search gave me the answer ^^
  4. Aww, that makes me happy to hear! ♥
  5. Ooh, hello Anne’s sister, you seem to be a cool person, nice to meet you! I’m glad to hear you like them, thank you! ^^
  6. K.K. Slider album redraw challenge, Lana Del Rey edition! Maybe I should post these in my LDR art thread too..? Thanks to @@electra and @@RormanNockwell for suggesting “K.K. fucking Slider!” and Kapp’n!
  7. Huh, Walmart? Never heard of the place before, it must be far away, huh? I’ve never heard of “Pepsi Cola” either, can you tell me what it is?
  8. Yep! He’s a video game character. 9
  9. Aw, so sorry to hear that. But if you'd give me the chance, I'm sure I'll make you forget about Barrie! I can't promise that we'd be something long-lasting though... I'll probably break up after maybe a week or two... The dumbest thing I've ever done? Uh, why are you asking me that? Look, I know I've made mistakes in the past, but I'm a better person now. I promise. Where are you from?
  10. I'm not much for music honestly, I wouldn't say I'm a good singer. But I would bring a girl to a musical performance as a date to impress her! Do you know any fun, single girls? ... Are you a single girl?
  11. 8 I like the colors! I just changed mine
  12. (Please guys, just a reminder, try to be in character with the person or thing in your profile picture, that’s the whole point of the game!)
  13. Hozier had a duet with Maren Morris and they sang Bones together last night for Global Citizen’s Together at Home. You can listen to it in the video in the tweet/link: https://twitter.com/glblctzn/status/1251624553786363906?s=21
  14. I listened to the song a little while ago... it’s... I don’t know, not a favorite. I’m so used to hear a Swedish pop version of the same song it’s a bit hard for me to hear it so stripped down and ballad-y.
  15. !! I’ve been looking for it everywhere, haha, thank you!!
  16. Norén 2: Another funny thing is that Farao, the drag queen from Borlänge, is incredibly similar in looks to Marilyn Manson! Norén 1: Oh yeah, that Donna*, letting go of that bomb...! Norén 2: So it could've been Farao's lap she was sitting in, because he used to reserve tables at restaurants in London as "Marilyn Manson" and go. I have no idea what he meant lol, he seems to speak in incoherent sentences or like his mind is quicker than his mouth * Donna as in a really hawt lady
  17. I should probably add that the "So you're with Eddie?" was said more like "So you're hanging out with Eddie?" not with as in "dating". Just to be clear. ... I should probably edit that to my translation, one second.
  18. The Swedish rock and pop culture journalist I'm following strikes again! This time, he invited ex-Mando Diao band mates Gustaf and Viktor Norén to his home to record his podcast "Hemma hos Strage" (something like "At Strage's place") and I'm glad he did because I thought about their meeting and that live performance yesterday, haha. Strage (the journalist) is also a hardcore Lana fan so I'm very glad he didn't forget to ask them about Lana. I remember typing down what Father John Misty said about Lana when he was interviewed for the same podcast, but I can't find that post anywhere now. I think it was in a thread that was something like "celebs mentioning Lana"? Anyway. I can't tell which of the brothers are Gustaf and who's Viktor, so I'll just name the different voices 1 and 2 below. This is what the Norén brothers had to say about Lana: ---------------------------------------------------- (starts at 53:54) https://hemmahosstrage.se/avsnitt/2020/4/16/gustaf-amp-viktor-norn-om-magi-och-musik Strage: Speaking of collaborations with famous people, ten years ago, Mando Diao had an unplugged concert in Germany and you invited a then completely unknown American singer who called herself Lana Del Rey. She sang your song "Chet Baker" and then she was the backup singer for "Gloria". I'm a huge Lana Del Rey fan so I just have to ask, how was she back then? Norén 1: She was very kind. She was at Skärmarbrink (suburban area in Stockholm) and jammed with us in our studio. Strage: Really?? Norén 1: Ye- No, not Skärmarbrink, where was it...? That industrial area over at...? Ah, whatever. But yeah, we had a pizza at the pizza restaurant and we were... But the sick thing is, do you know who would've played with us initially? Strage: No? Norén 1: Nicki Minaj. I had discovered Nicki Minaj like three weeks later on MySpace. Seriously. And she was like a MySpace artist then, manga, Japan inspired, you know. And I really liked Nicki Minaj. She had been included in a mixtape with Lil Wayne which I had heard, because I listened to like only Lil Wayne mixtapes back then, which was like a good source (of inspiration?) back in 2016... Then we contacted her and she was like "absolutely, how exciting, Europe!" and then it didn't work out with the travelling. "It'll be Lana Del Rey." "Mm, okay..." Strage: But Lana ate pizza at Skärmarbrink? Norén 1: Noo, not Skärmarbrink, what's that place called..? Norén 2: Anyway, it's an industrial area outside of Stockholm. Norén 1: What's it called, Tomte..? Strage: What kind of pizza did she have? Norén 1: I think we shared, bought several ones and cut them to slices and so. But yeah, she was very kind and very humble, and the second time I met her, she sat in Marilyn Manson's lap. Strage: *chuckles* Norén 1: And she was- And I was like "Hiii, Lana, how's it going, it's been some time!", "Hiii, how are you!", "Ah, nice!", and she honestly sat there in Marilyn Manson's lap! Strage: Where was this? Norén 1: In Germany for some gala. And then, "blah blah blah", "We'll be going over there and then...", "Okay, but I think I'll hang out with this guy". And he just stood there and watched and really experienced some competition, like, "some dude comes here and talks to my girl?!". And then she left with his crew and with him in a limousine, so much like a rock star. Strage: And you stood there? Norén 1: No, yeah, well, for me it was like... "Hi, Linda!", "Hae, how nice, how are ya?", "Ya, it's nice, how are you?", "Okay, nice", "Oh, so you're hanging out with Eddie?", "Ye", "Cool". Norén 2: Another funny thing is that Farao, the drag queen from Borlänge, is incredibly similar in looks to Marilyn Manson! So it could've been Farao's lap she was sitting in, because he used to reserve tables at restaurants in London as "Marilyn Manson" and go.
  19. I doubt Lana has even heard of Global Citizen lol
  20. @@Elle Can this be moved to the post-release BTD thread? I feel like it’ll fit in there. :3
  21. @@Pico Boulevard said Burning Desire is finally on Spotify and they’re right!! I’ve been waiting for this sooo long! https://open.spotify.com/track/2Za7Yhteh4XcUXnNYxTIHH?si=HRqz-iTWT5uRGzw-gOTLwQ
  22. (It got so bad, there were rumors that he even flirted with chicken and horses in the game lol) Thank you!
  23. This is Sylvain Gautier from Fire Emblem: Three Houses and he's the master of flirting with girls, making them fall for him and then ditching them to move on to someone else. Why? Oh, he has a reason... which I won't tell. Play the game instead! I'd probably hate him in real life so I don't know why I really like him. Maybe it's his jokes and relaxed lifestyle. And probably his smile as well. Yeah, probably. I wasn't sure if I wanted to keep it black and white or use my pens, but I went with b&w... and colored him afterwards in photoshop! ---------------------------------------------------- I have also sketched another drawing I wanna share but I'm pretty sure it'd be against the guidelines here so I'll refrain from posting it here. You might have seen it already if you follow me on Twitter.
