I'm listening to Motomami, Diablo just finished, the album is a bop And I feel like several of the songs keep the theme of transformation or changing who you are while staying true to yourself, or someone else changing? Either way, I'm liking what I'm hearing. I originally was interested in Rosalía thanks to her flamenco background and I was a bit worried it wouldn't be heard on this album (I had only heard 1-2 singles on radio) but it's theeere, and the reggaeton sounds great too.

I can honestly picture this album be her "I'm thriving and living my best life with my girlies and family" album. Feels like the most expected direction after Chemtrails and Blue Banisters.

I haven't been online the past two(+?) weeks, but I saw that the user who was invation friendly has been banned. Sorry that I wasn't here earlier, and thanks to the rest of the mod team for taking care of it. I've been listening to the radio news daily, went to sleep very anxious last week after Putin lowkey thretened to nuke Finland and Sweden, and this evening it seems four Russian fighter planes crossed the Swedish border and were on their way to the island I'm currently staying at for university. (Or maybe it was earlier today when I heard some fighter planes - I simply thought they were practicing as always, they have a base for practicing nearby) My anxiety has risen again, but the best I can do in this situation is to check for the closest bunkers (did that a few days ago) and pack a bag and buy some canned soups and bottled water (I'll do that tomorrow). I don't think anything will happen, but I want to be on the safe side. It makes me sad to hear what happens in Ukraine, and it makes me tense, but I want to know at the same time. I can't pretend nothing is happening. It makes me sad to hear Ukranians having to abandon their homes, and it makes me sad to hear Africans and Indian students be treated differently. If we have any users currently in Ukraine... I really hope you'll be safe. What is going on right now is so wrong, and I can only hope that Putin will swallow his pride and end this foolishness soon... although I have a feeling he won't be willing to do that either. Don't trust everything you read or see online, always look up for more information or news articles if you're unsure. Let's not spread misinformation. <3

Things I've drawn for group projects: Project A: pick a game to create a character. My group decided to create a trainer for the new Pokémon Legends: Arceus! My quick design ideas to share with my classmates, I didn't want to spend too much time on them since I knew the others in my team would make designs too. We didn't go with any of these in the end but with a classmate's instead. I tried to make mimic Pokémon's style and it was actually a bit hard because I usually don't draw in typical anime style these days, haha. Base for an action pose, and the action pose with the design we decided to go for. (again, the design isn't mine but my classmate came up with it! I was just in charge for drawing an action pose.) Project B: I created some pixel art for a very short game exercise. We were supposed to tell a story based on myth, fable or fairytale through the environment only, so I created some tombstones, Cerberus and final end scenes which we ended up not using because then we wouldn't meet the pass criteria.

Same, I was really into k-pop when I was like (13?) 14-20, but then my interest just dropped once I learned more about the industry, and especially when 2NE1 got disbanded in such an ugly way. And then even more when Bigbang’s Seungri got into a horrible scandal and eventually sent to prison. And the amount of groups and idols being presented to the market every year... it’s just too much to keep up with, at least for me. I’m glad it’s become more popular the past few years, because everyone thought I was crazy for listening to k-pop (and j-pop) and there truly are some talented artists out there that deserves more recognition. But the way youngsters stan these days is a bit different from when I was into k-pop, and it’s just so obsessive at times lol. Maybe I’m just older and over it all. Not even BlackPink interests me much anymore. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen one, though it’s barely updated. Her Alpha album is great! I wish I could find a store to order the vinyl. (I can get the CDs from Fnac France if I manage to get a summer job to earn some money.)
