One of my friends liked an article talking about the Stevie/lana interview and so I made the tragic mistake of reading the comments... I see why Lana doesn't promote and stays out of the spot light. People are so rude and uninformed, calling her a phony, calling the article awful, talking down on Stevie for associating with Lana .. it's sad. I forget sometimes how the GP doesn't like her and it kills me. I wish she got the recognition she deserves.
 
She might get some big exposure with summer bummer esp with the hip hop community (who I believe already respect her) but I hope it helps her case

not really "thirsty" for it, its just like knowing a song is in existence that were supposed to have and we dont have it yet

One of my best experiences was last week: I was sitting on the train to take me home, the sun was setting and it made the sky orange... but I could see heavy rain clouds ahead of me. And the sunshine rays hit my eyes. I was listening to West Coast and it all felt like a UV music video (except that I was sitting on a train and not in a car).
It was just...  a beautiful scenery and the sky looked so dramatic. ♥

I'm currently sitting at the botanical garden with palm trees, citrus trees, agave and other tropical plants around me and I'm listening to Ultraviolence while drawing. It started to get windy and I felt raindrops falling down, so I took cover under a roof.
But this place is one of my favorite places in my university town and Lana makes everything even more magical. ❤️ Plus, a couple just had their wedding ceremony here.
I wish I could show you a picture but my phone won't let me.
