  1. Thinking about how much I want a Mark Ronson collab…if not on this album, a future one, please
  2. Tik Tok is designed to progressively lower the attention span of its users. This trend of sped-up songs simply reflects that
  3. These are amazing and so thoughtful <3 keep it up!!
  4. Happy birthday to my favourite record, the beautiful Honeymoon. I can’t believe it is real - it truly exists independent of time and space, and for that reason, it is a rewarding body of work to listen to, whose layers I will continue to unravel over the years.
  5. Doll Parts by Hole is my go-to. The raw emotion and grit is real.
  6. A fun but also thoughtful album of classic Lana pop tracks from 2010! <3 1. Kinda Outta Luck 2. Dangerous Girl 3. Backfire 4. Prom Song (Gone Wrong) 5. Us Against the World 6. Meet Me in the Pale Moonlight 7. Motel 6 (Vicarge) 8. You Can Be the Boss 9. Is It Wrong? 10. Playground 11. Never Let Me Go 12. On Our Way 13. Tired of Singing the Blues 14. 7. Love you and sending all the love your way ❤️❤️ ❤️ Couldn’t agree more <3
  8. I am shocked and disappointed by the disregard for and trivialization of the inter-generational trauma and cultural loss that many diasporic communities in the west and those still in eastern countries have experienced as a result of colonization. The centring of predominantly white voices in this thread reeks of privilege and shame.
  9. I don’t have any thoughts or feelings. I would never celebrate the death of someone but I also think this isn’t a life worth celebrating given the colonial and racist history of the Royal Family. It is always sad for the people close to whoever passed, and I can acknowledge the loss of someone’s loved one as a universal sentiment rather than the loss of the Queen.
  10. That is terrifying and not something to joke about at all. I’m so glad everything’s okay now, but I am so, so sorry to hear that your privacy has been invaded like that. Sending you peace and love, and hope that whoever did this is able to own up and put this all to rest.
  11. U can take ‘em out of the trailer park but….u can’t take the trailer park out of ‘em!
  12. In chronological order - Old Money Chemtrails Over the Country Club The Greatest White Dress National Anthem
  13. Could it be Ian Kirkpatrick, by chance? I’m not sure if it’s the same guy in Lana’s story, but he has worked with Dua Lipa, Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, etc and also happens to be a bearded guy (lol) https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ian_Kirkpatrick_(record_producer)
  14. Her IG stories…she’s glowing and I live for her sharing her little travels with us lol <3
  15. Happy birthday to this site that we’ve all found a home in! Can’t believe it’s been 10 years. I love this community so much and feel such a kinship with everyone here. It’s pretty crazy that we are all united by our love for Lana and have connected in other ways too. Here’s to 10 more amazing years (and many more)! <3 thank you so much @Elle for keeping this site alive and running for us all, we truly would not be in this space without you and your generosity of spirit.
  16. I don’t feel like I need any particular unreleased song on the next album, but I think Fine China is lyrically brilliant and a final version deserves to see the light some day — this record preemptively feels like a maturation point, so maybe it would be cool to see Fine China on there! I also like the elusiveness of Yes to Heaven being a track considered for many albums, but I’d like to see it on an album released after marriage (that is if Lana does get married).
  17. Honeymoon Get Free Mariners Apartment Complex Hope is a Dangerous Thing Wildflower Wildfire
  18. Happy birthday to the epic that is Norman Fucking Rockwell! I’ll never forget where I was when we were first introduced to this record, hearing Mariners Apartment Complex and Venice Bitch, and Lana debut the title of the record in an interview with Zane Lowe. Such an uncanny album title with poignant themes to follow would serve to create an album that functioned as a sign of the times while also allowing listeners to become one with and see themselves through the music. I have so many great memories tied to this record, and for that reason, it’s always going to be one that I come back to and resonate with so closely. Happy 3rd birthday, Norman. 🏄‍♀️⛵️☄️🌊🦋
  19. Any Alice in Chains fans here? I can’t believe Dirt is turning 30 next month! Such a legendary, definitive album for the dawn of grunge.
  20. Chemtrails Over the Country Club is the record of Lana’s that I relate to most closely, even if it’s about fame. The sentiments of wishing for simplicity and normalcy despite achieving success is something I think many people can relate to. It’s such a poignant record that is thematically essential to who Lana is, and I wish more listeners gave it the time of day.
  21. I quite like the “piano ballads” and Lana’s use of piano as of late. It’s elegant and refined in a quiet way, and I think she exemplifies the art of subtlety quite well.
  22. On it — the nails are beige indeed, so it’s definitely recent!
  23. She’s in the studio with Jack, as per his story! https://instagram.com/stories/jackantonoff/2912269869013926682?utm_source=ig_story_item_share&igshid=NmNmNjAwNzg=
