  1. Her track 3s have consistently been (without fail) an integral part of the record, so I’m definitely “claiming” and am excited to hear track 3! Blue Jeans—Cola—Shades of Cool—Terrence Loves You—13 Beaches—Venice Bitch—Tulsa Jesus Freak—Arcadia—???
  2. Aw lol I am Canadian! And you are just as nice, one of my favs <3

  4. Oh God I would die of excitement if we got a big hair comeback. Nobody wears a beehive better than Lana!
  5. I think like a lot of countries, the USA has an ill history situated in racism, colonialism, and general stratification, and that definitely dictates how I feel about it. That said, I do find beauty in a lot of its natural landscape (California). The history of its pop culture, Americana icons and aesthetics, and the “Golden Age” of the country from the 50s to the 70s + its emphasis on idealism are also where my love for it lies. While I’m not American, I’m north of it, and it’s been a real dichotomy to bear witness to its downfalls while also feeling nostalgic for bygone eras that are mere romanticizations in my mind. It’s all about perspective and self-awareness, though! What is one thing you do to make your life feel beautiful?

  7. 10 days seem like a long time for one video. Lana’s most ambitious visual projects (Tropico, Ride, National Anthem) were all shot over the course of 2-3 days, so I’m guessing they’re either planning to do as many projects as possible in that 10 day period OR one project that is extra grand. Assuming this is indeed Lana-related, I’m excited!
  8. Songs: Lana Del Rey — West Coast Hole — Violet Alice in Chains — Nutshell America — Sister Golden Hair Slowdive — When the Sun Hits Pink Floyd — Time Lana Del Rey — Shades of Cool Led Zeppelin — Immigrant Song Book: Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, because at least I could develop some sense of faith that I could make do on the island lol. Purely psychological and spiritual preservation. Object: Sunscreen for sure. Surviving is key, but when you’re scorching in the desert sun, might as well stay young and beautiful!
  9. I can’t say for sure about my exact top 10, but I definitely know West Coast and Shades of Cool are in there.
  10. To be fair, it is oddly specific to use a photo of Lana alongside an announcement of being in NYC from the 4th to the 14th. I think we’d better keep a close eye on Miss Lana over the next 2 weeks!
  11. Well, the Breakers Mansion behind her is certainly old money opulence, so I’d say National Anthem!
  12. Oh I just saw Elle’s post on the LB account lol. It’s not the UK, it’s Rhode Island!
  13. So she was in the UK with Rob! I almost wonder if they went to make music with Justin Parker, I’d love that. So many iconic songs.

  20. My favourite song to drive around to in the heat of summer afternoon -
  21. It's a love story for the new age, for the sixth page We're on a quick, sick rampage Winin' and dinin', drinkin' and drivin' Excessive buyin', overdose and dyin' On our drugs, and our love, and our dreams, and our rage Blurrin' the lines between real and the fake Dark and lonely, I need somebody to hold me He will do very well, I can tell, I can tell Keep me safe in his bell tower hotel
  22. I think she means in her country, not LanaBoards lol.
  23. Adding to this — I’ve also found it surprising that when a known male sex offender is convicted, I hardly ever see men celebrating it or expressing anything of the sort, regardless of how they actually feel about it. It’s always women speaking out, but we need everyone to be advocates for basic human decency.
  24. That is horrifying. I would say I’m shocked, but it’s sad that we can be so desensitized to the country’s lengths to police and regulate women’s bodies. As scary as it may be to think about it, I’m hoping there is going to be a lot of successful pushback and upheaval about this, because I can’t think of anything else that could enact other laws in place or even reverse this legislation. I feel so sorry for all the Americans impacted by this and in general, I feel sorry for women and those who can bear children.
