  1. It’s from June (last month)! Definitely before the 21st, based on her manicure and hair colour!
  2. 2 quick vinyl options - loving this bronze, yellow, and cream colour palette. Super 70s and warm! <3
  3. Yesss, I love it so much, it’s so classy and striking but simple and timeless...I also can’t wait to see the visuals, it seems she has created a lot of content within these last 4 months and has been waiting to put it all out so we are definitely in for something special!
  4. Don’t lose hope! She posted the LFL cover alone on April 11th 2017 and didn’t post the back cover + tracklist until July 12th 2017. Plus, Neil reposted it, so I definitely think this is the cover!
  5. Yes, bestie!! I quoted my post from the last page above for you hehe - I think it’s from last month!! <3
  6. The cover and music video appear to have been shot last month, just before her birthday! She got the pastel yellow manicure and new hair colour in June - she doesn’t have the sparkly red accent nail in the cover and snippet (which she was spotted with on her birthday) so these were definitely shot in early June!
  7. Submitting it on Monday...90 days from early July....album out in October!
  8. It wasn’t! That’s why I wrote “potential” as well haha I hope it’s on the album though!
  9. This pastel yellow colour is appearing quite frequently - her outfit in the music video snippet, her nails, and her dress on the album cover. From Google - Pastel yellow is a gentle color likely to be considered soft and delicate. ... In color psychology, yellow is thought to be uplifting and encourage optimism. Too much yellow, however, can cause aggression or frustration—but pastel yellow's muted hue is less likely to inspire that reaction. I definitely think this is in reference to the album’s overall mood and range of emotions ^
  10. Unpopular opinion, but I’m so happy she left it as Blue Banisters - such a gorgeous track with a beautiful sentiment <3 and the new snippet sounds so beautiful!
  11. Potential/confirmed songs as of July 3, 2021 - Blue Banisters Text Book Wildflower Wildfire Dealer Thunder Cherry Blossom
  12. Awww, thank you so much!! Your list is iconic too - I really believe that vivid emotional experiences teach us the most in life and I empathize with your resonance with California. I also feel connected to that song. I’m happy to hear that you’re in a happier and healthier relationship now. Everyone deserves that, but from what I’ve gotten to know about you on here, you are someone special who is especially deserving of that! I wish you and your partner immense happiness <3
  13. 1. Mariners Apartment Complex 2. Tulsa Jesus Freak 3. Chemtrails Over the Country Club 4. The Greatest 5. Old Money 6. White Dress 7. National Anthem Tracks 1-3 reflect a very idyllic and fun time in my life when I had beautiful people around me and I felt very creative. It was the first time that I was truly able to indulge my more philosophical interests because I had like-minded individuals around me that made life feel normal but exciting. One person in particular really struck me. Tracks 4-6 reflect this simultaneous nostalgia, sense of loss, and relief I felt as life changed (especially amidst a pandemic and other big life transitions). Track 7 is where I’m at now as I grow into my career and personal ambitions. I feel like I’m living in the midst of National Anthem now LOL - reaping the benefits of this very exciting lifestyle but also being aware of these very rigid and traditional ideas of success that can be overwhelming. I’m definitely enjoying it though, I really feel the glamour of it all in my soul (we’ll see how long it lasts lol)!
  14. Not at all - other than the 3 singles that were released - I just made some of them up! Under Your Skin and Dope were revealed/rumoured to be songs from Lana’s 2016/2017 band sessions with TLSP alongside Thunder, so I included them but we have no indication that they’re on the album! And we obviously know that Dealer is a real song that may or may not be on the album.
  15. My tracklist idea: 1. Wildflower Wildfire 2. Text Book 3. Liz, I’m Calling from Calihoma 4. Bodega Bae 5. Paris, Texas 6. Under Your Skin 7. Thunder 8. Dope 9. Dealer 10. Still Blonde at a Bottle’s End 11. Daughter 12. My Thoughts are Not Borrowed - Just Blue 13. Blue Banisters All produced with Zach Dawes + Gabe Simon with the exception of Wildflower Wildfire. I think Wildflower Wildfire is the perfect opening with the defiant piano - it is simple but striking. The opening lines to the whole album being “here’s the deal - ‘cause I know you wanna talk about it” is perfect because it sets the tone for her telling her own story.
  16. It’s from her October 2015 Billboard cover story! It was actually about a movie idea she had - https://www.billboard.com/articles/news/cover-story/6737539/lana-del-rey-billboard-cover-pop-stardom-relationships-anxiety
  17. I think Gabe Simon and Zach Dawes were primarily involved with this album and she made a good chunk of it between October and December 2020 when she was recording the cover albums, and has since been adding finishing touches. Maybe the new additions to the tracklist are the songs she made with Zach and their side band in 2016/2017 (namely, Thunder, perhaps among more). Chances are, she went to Mike 3-4 months ago to start work on LDR 9 and realized WW would fit perfectly on LDR 8, so that song marks a cross-over between the processes of making LDR 8 and LDR 9.
  18. I think the industry can be a terrible place sometimes, but I actually disagree. Lana has always been in control of her life and what you mentioned about the label choosing her look and style is exactly the kind of narrative the media used to spew about her - that she was “manufactured” by her label. The records are true of Lana’s life at the time, and perhaps those earlier records that you feel are the most unlike Lana are from when she was working through a lot of difficult things that had happened in her life that maybe she’s gotten clarity on now, and thus, hasn’t explored in NFR/COTCC. People evolve over the course of a life but I don’t think the earlier records are inauthentic to Lana. AKA and her catalogue pre-fame naturally grew into BTD, she has even said this.
  19. Yesterday! I usually wear it everyday — even though I’m home all day because of COVID — but today was a lazy day lol When was the last time you had a good, hearty laugh?
  20. It’s probably most definitely not on the new album, but I noticed sometime last year that Serene Queen actually relates to how Lana was perceived in the public throughout 2020, despite being recorded in 2015! I don’t start fights but I stop them all by any means. ^ that line in particular really resonates with the way QFTC was presented and all of the ways she “doubled down” on her comments. And I think the song really could serve well as an explainer of Lana’s inner dialogue amidst being defamed/berated by the culture. So I think Serene Queen or a song with a similar lyrical concept would fit really well on LDR 8!
