  1. Trump’s been given the easiest layup of all time to garner goodwill with the youth and the millions of TikTok users. No one will even remember (or give a shit) that he’s the one who signed the executive order to ban TikTok a few years ago. I don’t see him passing up this opportunity for himself.
  2. Henry is the off to the races of the album
  3. So do we think what she posted was just the demo? She’s had a year to mess with it. Some lush strings and whatever instruments that give a lil country twang could be a nice addition to what we have heard so far
  4. I was unexpectedly delayed to the ceremony (extreme buildup of gators blocking the bayou) but THANK YOU to all who voted for me!!! I’m honored to be recognized and love being a part of this crazy forum Cheers to way more Lana speeches in 2025 which will undoubtedly inspire more insane usernames 🥂
  5. Still can’t get over it looking like an “in remembrance” pamphlet you get at a funeral
  6. I’ve always loved the title Behind the Iron Gates. I hope she uses it someday.
  7. 💔 I watched Mulholland Drive when I was 12 or 13 and I swear it rewired my brain. From that point on, he was a huge influence on the art and media I consumed. He was truly a singular voice and visionary.
  8. Correct but I wonder if she had other rollout plans for when the album was named Lasso. Sounds like a lot has changed behind the scenes. I don't even think TRPSW is actually the final album name.
  9. I'm not saying I believe them but remember that one person saying Lana wasn't keen on putting out an Americana album if Trump won the election? I really do wonder if his win altered any of her plans?
  10. The only time she has seemed excited or animated about this era was when talking about the crowd going silent when she mentioned the industry gone going country
  11. This feels like the most likely scenario and I am positive we'll have a very rational, calm reaction
  12. Tomorrow (1/14) is the 13 year anniversary of her SNL performance which is the perfect time to drop the song Has Anyone Else Died For You
  13. Walden has been in the trenches and gets it. I’m still not convinced it’s the final album title.
  14. Do you think each song will be about a different way a man has wronged her first up, Henry. What did he do? Why did she lose it on him? Clearly he is at fault.
  15. Please It’s too bad about the drama BTS on that set, could have been an iconic show.
  16. Obvi pure speculation but a Lady Gaga and final collab with The Weeknd would be more than enough to hold me over until springtime
  17. If this album is a bit of a reset on her persona / totally new direction after the last 3 records then I hope she works with someone new on the album artwork. She’s reinvented herself numerous times through her career: from Lizzie to cinematic sadcore Lana to west coast grunge rock and roller to Honeymoon’s lush old Hollywood jazz singer to 60’s hippie beginning to self reflect on her place in the world to deeply introspective poet who can’t get off her piano. I hope she puts effort into the visuals again even if (actually, especially if) TRPWS is an acoustic guitar, stripped down album.
  18. The goal post for any news or release continuously moving through all the seasons is a Lana staple. Eventually it will be “omg the end of summer / beginning of fall is the PERFECT time for her to announce the first single!”
  19. "Lana and I are just running headfirst into a very strange place. couldn't love it more." I wonder if we'll hear any of that or if these sessions are scrapped for now. Didn't Jack also say in an interview soon after Ocean Blvd they were venturing into uncharted territory, musically?
  20. I doubt she cleared that homemade TRPWS album announcement or Rock Candy Sweet announcement or Chemtrails announcement embedded in QFTC with her label. She can post whatever she wants whenever she wants…unfortunately for us. If it actually comes to fruition is another thing entirely.
  21. I remember when the pre-release buzz for NFR had fans theorizing that the cover would mimic the style of a Norman Rockwell painting. Instead, Lana delivered a new American iconic image—perfectly capturing that era (late 2010's) with the neon green "insta baddie" windbreaker, the LA fires in the background, and her invitation to view the world through her unique lens. I can’t wait to see how she transforms the gothic or country aesthetic into something unmistakably Lana Del Rey. The majority of her album covers are instantly recognizable and have their own place in pop culture forever. Hoping, praying, wishing for another iconic album cover like BTD, LFL, NFR
