They just announced that Björk's doing a show in Finland in July at a quite small venue (1700 seats), the tickets are expensive as fuck (cheapest seats 109€) but I am DYING I must try getting tickets for me and my bf. Even if that means tightening up my belt

Overall I'm pretty satisfied with last night's setlist tbh. Never been a fan of Isobel for some reason but it's okay since I'm still not completely over the fact that she finally did Human Behaviour I was writing down my ideal (but still as realistic as possible) Utopia tour setlist yesterday and first I had it in there but eventually scrapped it because of obvious reasons, Björk you sneaky bitch. She both looked and sounded so good judging by all the clips and videos I've seen and the stage is amazing - such a shame the screen broke down or something. The photos she posted on social media are worth taking a look at! I guess my only complaint is Saint, mind you I haven't watched the whole performance but it seemed a bit messy and the intentionally slow choreography doesn't quite fit the song imo, the confetti was a nice add though - not to mention the flowers beginning to bloom at the end of Loss. Screen visuals during Arisen were pretty af, better than the actual music video to be honest I was not expecting any slug genitalia when I first saw it and even though I'm kinda used to it now it's still somewhat gross. Not really digging Arca in the video either If I got it right Features Creatures was the last song as they had to cut it short because of a curfew or something like that? I'm just gonna go and assume the last one would've been The Anchor Song once again. Apparently Björk has said in some Spanish interview that they reheased about 40 songs for the tour and she'll decide the setlist each morning on the day of the concert? Even though that's pretty much what she usually does I still think it's pretty cool, can't wait to see how future shows will differ from each other. However if there's going to be a live album I need Human Behaviour on it Edit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQ8idRGlItA

Yep I know! Also on 4um. I'm about to go to bed now though, hoping there'll be some material once I wake up.

WHAT FOR REAL My god I've been waiting for this day to come
-
Blissing me and Utopia as well! Refreshing hashtags like a maniac all over Instagram and Twitter

Yeah they actually released a very limited 2CD version as well if I remember correctly. Luckily I've had it on my laptop for ages (got it from a discography torrent a couple of years back) so I just listened to it and hell yeah.

Well she already did Pluto with strings so why not flutes as well If she's going to keep on performing Notget I'd also like if they did it flutes instead of strings, it'd be a nice twist even though I love the song as it is. And yeah if she'll do more of the old songs I hope they've been updated to go along with the current airy sound, what they did to Come to Me was amazing. I think I've listened the new version of All Neon Like a couple of times but jesus christ I can't remember it at all, need to return to it as soon as I've finished my current playlist Gurl what, drop whatever you're doing and listen to it now lol. Considering the fact that she recently even admitted that Finnish composers and compositions were the reason why she didn't ditch her flute as a kid, she basically owes us a show now that she based an entire record on them. Or at least performing the Moomin track as a tribute

Yeah... it'll also be interesting to see if she's going to have more of her older material in the setlist. I guess it'll be mostly Utopia but since it's a festival this time around she'll probably have more of the songs she's known for? I absolutely love the Army of Me performance she did in Manchester a few years ago (also my favorite Vulnicura era outfit by far). She did say in one of her interviews (can't remember which one) that she likes to start her festival sets with "the slow stuff" (for a lack of a better word) and end them with the rhytmic bangers after the sun's down or something like that. And I really dig that transition to be honest, like for example my ideal Björk setlist I'd love to experience myself would end with the crushing techno/industrial beats of Pluto. Experiencing it live would be insane. I'm good either way though, just being able to see her is enough of a dream that I hope will come true someday. Btw am I the only one who thinks The Comet Song deserves some justice considering the current woodwind/folktronica sound? It's a cute one imo and it wouldn't be a big addition due to its short length. Or maybe I'm just somewhat biased since she made it for the Moomin film lol (one of my good friends got to attend a press event back then and I'm jealous af that she got to see Björk) Edit: According to someone on Reddit she's going to do Come to Me, we'll see about that.

Yep! Her showtime is in about 4 hours, excited to see if she's wearing a new outfit and also if the setlist is any different from the previous two shows last month. Fucking hell we're finally getting some live footage Someone uploaded plenty of audio recordings from the previous ones but no thanks I want to see what's going on.

Well at least The Gate is better than Arisen. Anyone in the UK that wants to try iPlayer or should I try with a proxy or whatever later when I get on my laptop...? Edit: Okay all Hola and iPlayer did was make my browser laggy af so whatever

Apparently there will be two performances tomorrow and since there's a harp somewhere in the middle of those bushes and all it's rumored that the performances will be Loss and Blissing me I'm not sure if they're confirmed or not. I'll be disappointed if she's gonna do Arisen my senses instead of the first one mentioned, it's an okay track but I don't know how that would work on TV with all those vocals and adlibs and whatnot. Obviously Loss isn't very TV friendly either but at least it would be a better option vocals-wise... also I just found out that the episode won't air until like 11.20PM UK time so I'm pretty pissed that I probably won't see those before sunday morning.

Are you people seriously thinking that the documentary will have a Lizzy song from 2008 playing in the back or something like that? Well now I've seen it all...
-
Courtship damn it with Anchor Song tho... give me a live performance of Loss NOW

Okay so I liked Sweden the most because of that catchy chorus (been stuck in my head for the last couple of days) and I voted for him. Israel's okay, also liked Ukraine and Serbia (not that wannabe Bollywood vocalist chick tho, I got fed up with her 30 seconds into the song lol). When I watched the second semifinal I thought the Ukraine guy sang some bits in English and the rest in Ukrainian but lmaooo he really did sing the whole song in English, him needing an interpreter in the green room certainly didn't surprise me This was the first time Finland's national public broadcasting company YLE selected the artist to represent our country in ESC all by themselves. Usually artists are free to send their tracks etc., their songs go through a grinder so to speak and then it's up to the citizens to vote for their favorite in semifinals and the final. Usually the candidates are unfamiliar to the public as it's widely thought that no serious artists take part in the selection process or the actual ESC, since the careers of our representatives always flop big time. Saara's been in multiple talent/singing contest formats during the last decade (always coming second) and overall there's more of those who dislike her than those who do like her, she pretty much has the reputation of a tryhard. Her success in X Factor UK in 2016 gained her some support but that didn't really last too long. I saw her live last year because the event was free and even though I admit she has some skills it was just plain boring. It's like she wants her performances to be technically perfect but she never performs with emotion. Apparently YLE selected her to represent us this time around because she was in talks of representing the UK instead. When I first heard Monsters I laughed at it and thought it was completely ridiculous but now I think it's okay since it's grown on me since. Besides Monsters she did two other tracks for ESC and we were able to vote those and their performances, Monsters gaining most of the votes even though the performance was a big ass mess and eventually they changed it completely. The final performance seen this week was better but to be honest coming second to last once again shows that she's mediocre at best.

I like the chorus of Sweden's song and Ukraine's was surprisingly ok as well
-
Yeah I can't blame you because I hated it at first too haha
-
A god damn snoozefest... for once I'm actually happy and satisfied with our entry (I've disliked Saara for a long time but Monsters is actually kinda catchy now)
-
I can tell you I was SHOOK when I woke up this morning with dead ass tired eyes and saw this on Instagram, a goddess
-
Alright I've been listening to some CAMP and AML! today, Heartbeat and Redbone are absolutely perfect. The new track is good too
-
Haven't really listened to his discography that much yet but I really like Because the Internet! Especially 3005, Flight of the Navigator and Earth: The Oldest Computer I've got the latest album on my laptop as well but I haven't given it a decent listen yet

I saw the film yesterday and I liked it more than I thought I would. Sure it had some clichés and honestly I pretty much hate romantic comedy-dramas aimed at teenagers but this was definitely a very positive surprise, I enjoyed it. Simon's character was very easy to relate to (obviously, being gay myself) and Nick Robinson did a nice job portraying him. Will most likely buy the blu-ray once it's out!

I'm so excited for this! I've been a fan of the franchise for as long as I can remember and I absolutely loved playing through the earlier games of the survivor reboot. I'm definitely gonna get the Croft edition with the season pass and shit. This one's supposedly the darkest one yet and I'm all here for it tbh, she's been through some really messed up stuff by now so basically I'd like to see her go through PTSD for example or something like that, some sort of a mental disorder would be an interesting change. Also after the god damn snow and ice in Rise of the Tomb Raider I'm more than thrilled about the jungle set up, hell yeah I wanna lurk in the bushes and shadows covered in mud and take out bad guys silently one by one with confidence. Btw it's really nice how they're already teasing us with a gear guide, I dig her outfit and all those small details.

just give me Visions Pt. II and I'll be happy for a decent amount of time

yaaasss can't wait for next week

Yeah if I'm correct the underwater scenes from the Freak video were actually shot for Ultraviolence? Also there's that pic of Lana with that guy (I can't remember his name) looking at her all furious
