I loved Chloe too, and even though Christi was over-dramatic and bitchy she seemed like a really great mom, I think it was probably the right thing for her to leave the team. And Nia's blatant casting for 'ethnic' roles are so obvious. I think Abby said once that it was because as an adult in a dance career she will be treated the same so Abby is so very kindly doing Nia a favour, obviously. And yet she also says Maddie, Mackenzie and Kalani are the only ones who will ever make it in LA anyway.

I do agree that BTD goes a bit wish-washy after National Anthem but even more so with UV, in my opinion. FMWUTTT, MPG, Old Money, Sad Girl, PWIC, G&R are all similar-ish sounding, compared to how different Brooklyn Baby, West Coast, Ultraviolence, Shades of Cool are at the beginning which are also the stand out tracks/ones that got the most promotion so she definitely could have done the tracklisting a lot better. Saying all that, I don't wanna put UV down because I do adore it and it's like 10000X better than if she went down the pop route instead. AKA comes extremely close to BTD with me, I prefer the songs individually and just the whole 'surf noir' thing she was going for but I put BTD above just cos of the production and how it goes together as an album. Also Lolita and Lucky ones get slated wayyy too much, Lolita is one of my favourites.

Praying I'm not the only one who's ultimate guilty pleasure is this piece of trash. It's so easy to get hooked and attached to the moms/dancers, it's got to the point where I can't miss a single episode.

This. Don't get me wrong, I like her going in a more experimental direction, with UV and probably with Honeymoon too but BTD is iconic, I'm pretty confident that she'll never come out with an album that goes together as well as this masterpiece.

I was actually devastated when I heard about this because The Beach Boys are a childhood favourite of mine, I'm actually seeing them live this year, so I was really looking forward to the collab - especially since we know the band are an inspiration of Lana's too but now I'm just really not hyped for the album

Oh my fuck, I was only 13 innocent years old, one of the only obsessions that have stuck since then. Embarrassingly, my mum was also really anticipating the release too because she loved Video Games and tbh the whole family (still) love a National Anthem karaoke session in the car. It really is an iconic album, I was so excited when it came in the mail because I've never been in such awe and fascination over someone, not just her music. It's just got this amazing production and atmosphere which literally makes you feel like you're driving fast in an open roof vintage car - it sounds stupid but it really does make my blood boil and I get genuinely upset when people call her "boring" or "depressing" I mean, are you seriously basing this on Video Games which is the only ballad on the whole fucking album and actually that song is POSITIVE. Anyway, back to celebrating, I love this album, as much as I adore Ultraviolence, it was a fair shot off BTD because it flows better as an album and yet each song is unique and stands out in it's own way.

This isn't just aimed at you and I'm not saying this forum should just be for delusional fangirls, I'm just responding but don't you think this is a bit of an overreaction? Personally, I think she looks stunning, I mean I actually want to die right now, I get the dress is not to everyone's taste but she looks like a beautiful old Hollywood mermaid, it's her style and I'm glad she's stuck with the 60/70's look for red carpet events. Also, with the hair, it needed to be big to live up to the dress and I think this looks better than the massive bee hive she used to have, which was really Priscilla style. I just don't get why such a large quantity of the fanbase has to dig at her weight so much. It's not pregnant, it's called healthy. She has beautiful curves, it's ridiculous that this can be considered too fat. Idk, just because she's famous doesn't mean she's not human - I thought the dress was gorgeous until I saw the comments (probably just my 0 fashion taste lol) so that probably means she'll be getting enough of a hard time off the media. The least we can do as fans is support her.

Resurrecting this thread in case any french music fans are still standing in this forum. I've recently gotten really into Coralie Clement, her music has such a romantic, old sound to it and if you like typical french music then it's hard to dislike her.

i think it's cute, i wonder why she did it? because i know she likes to come across as having a 'mysterious' past but she knows we're already hardcore stalkers so surely she can't be doing it just to draw attention to her pre-fame life? idk. she's unpredictable. as in the braids? IKR I CAN'T TAKE IT.

If she wrote an autibiography - or even worse someone else wrote one for her - I'd worry that she'd be exploiting and commercialising herself. Besides, part of what makes her so interesting is her mysterious past, it just doesn't suit her image (even though obviously I'd love to know the answers to all our unanswered questions, ngl)

So do we actually know if the Trash Magic 'demo' is definitely a demo? Or did she just use the chorus of the song to make a new version/song? It's not exactly that important but I'm just curious since Trash is one of my faves of her songs and also one of the first I ever heard.

I agree, you'll probably want to get there earlier. When I saw her last year, 8am was fairly reasonable but she was performing in more venues in a smaller radius and there weren't quite as many hardcore fans so I definitely think it's worth getting there earlier - I know the thought is kinda horrible but it's so worth being at the front cos she spends so much time there, you won't even see her much if you're further back and you might die from the crowd. She sometimes comes out to the queue before the show if she gets there early but often she'll sneak round the back of the venue, it's an even chance really, maybe there's a possibility you could just ask a member of staff to give your gift? But I wouldn't 100% trust any of them. Also, @@silver starlet made a good point, put you're twitter user on the back of your pic, don't bother trying to tell her at the time. I really hope you get to give it to her and have an amazing time

I'm just so happy with the direction the album's going, I don't think her management has tried to change her (which I was kinda worried about since the only radio play she gets here is that fucking SS remix)
