i think the song is great too. it’s annoying to see people hating on it because it’s not her typical glitch eccentric pop that they’ve all come to expect and love but i am so relieved she is trying new sounds finally, it was getting BORING. not to say i particularly love good ones or new shapes but i think they’re both consistent and great additions to her discography. new shapes is most definitely a promo single also. it’s clear there is no intention to actually push it any farther than what they have done already, and technically good ones is still climbing on radio, so

i contributed $15 to her fraudulent album campaign and i will never let go of that grudge LOL but to be fair the hundreds of leaks we got was sort of worth that lmao

does she even have the masters? ARE they even mastered? it didn't seem like there was ever a green lit album release date or anything so there's a good chance actual HQ polished versions of most of these songs even exist

true but it's Greg Kurstin, and during his most productive/peak years, and while she was relatively unknown. plus aren't Out of this World and Poisoned With Love the only songs they did together?

still some of my fav songs of hers/would have made for nice additions on BB&S IMO. then that must mean poisoned with love was also in this crop of songs, i doubt she had sessions with greg kurstin in multiple years but maybe she did
