I think she low-key knows our complaints about LFL: too many collabs, scrapping stuff and adding other stuff; and so I think she knows not to make these mistakes again, maybe that's why she posts multiple snippets of the same songs, to reassure us that she's not throwing anything away

We have heard only 6 songs off NFR...imagine what the other 5 or 6 or maybe more sound like    I can't wait for this album, too bad is coming mid year 

Also, 3 songs starting with H...the letter of the era lol 

So, HIAB is a catchy, all piano ballad, HIADT is a serious, sad and more personal piano ballad, HTD is just another piano ballad with beats on top, cinnamon is piano and then beats and synths. 

WHERE THE FUCK ARE THE GUITARS??? the so called LaUrEl CanYOn ViBe, the RhcP influence, the SuRF ELemEntS??? Lana wyd. 

I'm grateful as fuck for all the music this era because everything has been fucking incredible so far, I really love all the songs she teased and released so far, but Lana...Give me VB-level, psychedelic guitars explotion on more than one song, don't do this. 

Anyway, this era's music quality is unreal and her best album is truly coming.

Oh my Lord. I always loved HIAB and this sounds so beautiful.

don’t get me wrong, i wouldn’t mind if the whole album is in piano and acoustic guitars. I’d love it either way. However i’m still expecting what she described how the album sounds like.

First, the random press release that said MAC VB AND HIADT are just fan singles, then the whole fiasco with the fake premiere and then the fucking neohumanism shit comes up like the cherry on top. I laughed my ass off the whole 20 pages (literally ''laughed my ass off'' cause I was on the toilet diarheea-ing most of the time, sorry TMI)

Lana posting the link after 12 hours of the song being released, y'all getting angry at her, people still arguing over the cover.

Really wondering what NFR (title track) will sound like. Will it serve the piano acoustic side of the album or give us some Venice Bitch, Laurel Canyon psychedelics..

can I be honest about the cover?

Yeah, it's not stunning, but it does fit the music. Lana is doing a more raw aesthetics, she is striving for another group of fans. Lana doesn't want to be a popstar anymore, she's going back to her alternative/indie roots. It's a personal song, and a selfie is way more personal than a glamorous photoshoot. She made a personal cover for a personal song. That's good.

If we look at the cover without listening to the song, it's bad. But, if we're looking at the cover while we're thinking about the song, it makes a lot of sense

That's what I've been saying about the MAC and VB covers, but people keep on hating them 

I don’t think we’ll get any more psychedelic songs on the album apart from VB, but I do hope we’ll get some more guitars... it feels like they wrote the tracks with a piano and added more things when they worked more on them? So many of them (all of them?) include a piano, and that isn’t necessarily bad... I just thought there’d be more guitars because she mentioned Red Hot Chili Peppers... but then again, maybe she’s not the best person to describe the sound of her songs?

She was live on insta recently and somebody asked her about the vibe/sound of the album and she said: some deeply introspective, sad girl shit

Yeah, I don't think this is her saddest thing either, but it is definetly really personal and real

I love how raw her voice is towards the end

I hope there's more guitar involved in the album, so far only MAC and VB have it. Cinnamon is piano and then beats and synths, Sylvia is just piano, HTD is either just piano, or piano and beats and syths, HIAB is clearly gonna be just piano as well (we fucking heard almost 2 whole minutes of it and it was just piano). I mean, all these songs are great, but personally, I want more guitar pleeeeeasseeee.

When she started singing the ''is a new revolution'' bit, I thought it was going full acapela for the bridge, that would've been so good 

Yeah, the cover is really bad and lazy...smh. For that great of a song to have that cover...

I guess this applies for all the other songs and maybe it'll apply for the album itself. It's sad that she doesn't care about the visuals like she used to, but at the end of the day I don't really care when the music is so good.

Ok I listened to it finally and it is indeed really great. Like many people said, this is the Change we really deserved. The real piano ballad. The lyrics are amazing actually and the melody is unique and touching. Not to mention her voice is fucking bomb. Thank God for no filters. Her voice's so clear that it brings a lovely sense of intimacy to the song, which is awesome considering how personal it is to Lana 

I guess she's gonna talk about a lot of things tommorow on BBC1...can't wait to find out more about the album and the song 

Honestly the song really doesn't need anything else than piano. I would even say that more instruments wouldn't do it. It's her Liability.

Wow, ok now I'm genuinely excited!!! All the comments are saying it's a classic beautiful masterpiece and fuck I can't take it anymore. Coming back after I listen to it
