I honestly don't understand people who are victim blaming. jj is a Swedish duo, consisting of Joakim Benon and Elin Kastlander. They've released a couple of albums so far, jj n° 2, jj n° 3, and most recently, V. I've heard of some of their music but didn't have the chance to listen to a lot of their music until I fell in love with a song off of their latest album V, titled Dean & Me which was featured in a list of the "saddest songs of 2014 so far" which also featured Lana, Lykke Li, Shura and a bunch of other great stuff (there's seriously so many amazing songs in that list, I really want to make a list for some of the other artists on there but we'll see how this one goes). Their music is super ethereal, dream pop and indie pop. Dean & Me If you like the track, you should definitely find more of their music. I got V on vinyl (limited edition clear vinyl ooooooh) yesterday and it was the best purchase of this month because I haven't listened to their album in full yet, and when I did it was amazing. Super cohesive and stunning, super good for walking around at night.

Even Prism looks better though, this just looks like ~indie hipster triangles n purple 2009 tumblr aesthetics~ you know? I wish she had a more precise art direction. The Truth Serum cover even looked pretty cool compared to this!

She's like Jessie J, but without the tacky-wacky-cheap-annoyingness! Her vocals are awesome and I wish I liked her music more, I think she's super cool and awesome and knows how to NOT oversing when someone with a voice like hers usually does in their music.

It's about four hours long though, but I'm glad you like it. I'm obsessed with it and proud of it (even if @@SitarHero disagrees with some of my wise/amazing/flawless decisions in the sequencing) and anyone who really wants to listen to a good Lana playlist should check it out! It's 90% released stuff with a few unreleased gems/AKA tracks in there.
