  1. omg I have 700 hours on this game! Love it to death. I do have on and off phases with SDV though, but it has such a special place in my heart it will forever be my favourite game. But I think the on-off phase isn't because of the game but because of my gaming behaviour. Before I played it, I thought it was just another farming simulator but the story has so many real-life day to day aspects and struggles, love how deep and real the character stories are (trying hard not to spoil), so much so it made me become emotionally attached to 2D pixel characters lol the game is very wholesome but at the same time very real Also, I cannot praise Eric Barone enough. He essentially developed the game by himself, the art, the music, the programming. You can feel how much love he put in it. He gave us four years after the official game release a free content patch, which was a whole ass game by itself and he put the game on sale during that time (the original game is what, normally only about 14€ for PC??). That patch alone was more than any damn "Early Access" games for 30€ give us these days or EA gives us in any Sims 4 game/extention pack. I only bought the Soundtrack to support him and shove more money down his throat because he deserves it. A lot of people bought the game on every platform just to support him, he is very loved in the community. We are all looking forward to his new game, Haunted Chocolatier that is currently in development. The game normally costs 13,99€ (on Steam/PC) and is currently on sale for 9,23€. But i've seen it for 4,99€ too sometimes, so if you are unsure about it, I would get it during a sale. The content you get for the price is insane. Plus, I just got this OST Vinyl Boxset a while ago and it's the cutest damn thing everrr look at it omg
  2. not to be a bitch but sis read the community guidelines, it's literally on the front page. There is now even an orange banner "regarding off-site" links, just click on it. We don't want to jeopardize this forum so no one is going to send you a link, stop asking for it.
  3. Lana survived the born to die era, the kanye era and the question for the culture era. she is untouchable at this point
  4. let's be honest, it's always only all about the money. they'll put in the minimum effort for the maximum of profits, that's why all their stuff lacks substance and depth, feels unfinished and buggy as hell. the only reason they are the only game permitting modders to profit off their game is because they know the moment they stop allowing it, their game goes down hill because the modders are carrying the game. We can complain as much as we want about EA but they will keep on doing what they're doing if we keep shoving money down their throats. There are other ways to enjoy the SIMS 4
  5. lmfaoo your profile pic goes perfectly with your post and I agree about the kits. It's just another money making scheme for EA. Almost all the kits could've been part of a pack. Kid's Room, Toddler and Backyard stuff would've also fit with parenthood (and parenthood and growing together could've been one pack together lol). Spooky and Paranormal stufff could've been one kit and I still don't understand to this day why werewolves and vampires were made into two different packs. Like, the list goes on and on.
  6. what the fuck, they actually said that?! Is that even... legal? I know writers don't read fanfictions because they don't want a law suit happening about stolen ideas. lmao the fact the devs admitted that and still pushing out mediocre packs and kits samesies. I'm excited to try out paralives but I hope they refine the art style more, because as of now I don't feel it. And ew mobile.
  7. Honestly, fuck EA. They charge 40 bucks for a pack and 10 bucks for a Kit with barely any content and the content they do produce is not worth the money. They rely on the mod community to fix their stuff for free (which is also part of the devil's cycle tbh, the mod community needs to stop doing EAs work but that's a whole other can of worms I'm not opening up lmao) while they are the ones cashing it in. Each update they push out breaks the game even more and that SIM SUMMIT EVENT a while ago was just embarrassing, looking at the quality of their work. Sims 4 base game vanilla isn't even that great of an experience if you don't buy the packs or mod imo. It's laughable that it's now free to play, it's so obvious that they rely on the packs and kits to make profits, which is a very sad sign for the quality of the base game.
  8. my poor ass is listening the Apple Music preview over and over. Hope the other streaming services hurry the fuck up
