they're a great band, but a lot of people tend to overlook the band because Elita Harkov had Tumblr posts about DDLG during her cokewhore camgirl phase... even though the people in question stan Melanie Martinez and this piece of information was uncovered right in between the Cry Baby and K-12 eras

this specific instance of teasing deserves a lawsuit, prison sentence & electric chair

this is the original 2007/2010 (depending who you ask) version - https://dbree.org/v/f237c8 this is an edit pairing that version's vocals with the 2012 artpop-era instrumental demo - https://dbree.org/v/63987f

Kiss definitely feels like Carly Rae Jepsen being forced to dumb herself down. The lyrical bastardization of Tiny Little Bows was criminal and the dubstep chaos of Tonight I'm Getting Over You was ridiculous. The Curiosity remix wasn't necessarily bad, but it's definitely a kidified version of the song, and the vibe is so bizarre when you line it up with the music video that the og was supposed to have. She had a bunch of dignified timeless pop songs and they were desperate to squeeze them into a Good Time-shaped box.

has this reached LB yet

I hope Gaga comes out of the woodworks confirming that she ghostwrote Nothing On back in 2007 when she was ghostwriting for The Pussycat Dolls and Britney Spears so the gays shut up

will I be burned at the stake if I say 2 Die 4 is generic H&M music circa 2017 and it has no personality / could have been done by literally any cis white female artist

why are people getting so fussy about the claim that it's a Gaga cover when it's literally a fan-favorite Gaga leak from 2010 that was meant for her, was cut from Born This Way and then narrowly missed the mark for ARTPOP; there are clips of her playing it to fans in her car, and it was well-known to the extent that there's a RuPaul interview where she says her favorite Gaga song aside from Fashion! is Nothing On (But the Radio) it's a Gaga cover

did I just read "sam smith collab" and "her best era yet" in the same sentence

it would have been so funny if the ringtone was a snippet of Barbie Girl instead of Vroom Vroom

"I pledge allegiance to what's right and wrong" her compulsive lying non-serve

people think they dated because back in the day TMZ dropped photos of them allegedly kissing at a The 1975 concert (...a detail that aged poorly) people speculated that Cruel Summer was about Karlie because of the "I snuck in through the garden gate every night that summer" lyrics / there are paparazzi candids of Taylor at the garden gate outside Karlie's home from a few different days in the summer during 1989 era; also Cornelia Street because that home was on Cornelia Street
-
it probably exists on the album (iirc Kendrick was at a studio party held by Taylor a while back) but it wouldn't count as a vault track; it'd be a regular bonus track in the vein of Ronan, Eyes Open, Safe & Sound, Today Was a Fairytale

hating on the cover for having text, meanwhile I hate on the Fearless/Speak Now covers for being textless

is that not exactly what Poppy did by releasing one of their collabs without consent and then spreading lies about her online I would also classify both the Mars harassment and Titanic split as fucking other people to elevate herself

I know it's common to say AHS finales are rushed but... the 1984 finale was so rushed all that build-up to shit we only hear about in retrospect
