can confirm firsthand that the bitch is fucking exhausted, maybe let her release this song she's been wanting to be released for 3 years and stop setting yourselves up for disappointment on every single thing by setting ur own bar as low as "not taxi" lmao also the song isn't identical to the leaked version, the cover art isn't that bad, and if this song gets a video it'll be great 
 
she does so much for us, let her release this G-rated party banger, let blogs compare it to holiday and barbie girl, let it have its spot on the "teen party" playlist on spotify and let her have the peace of mind that when people listen to girls night out its not from her hacked email anymore jfc

Okay I'm gonna set the record straight because I have some thoughts that I like to share.
 
First of all we should stop complaining about the sales, like, yeah, every one of us wants Charli to be successful but she's not going to have another smash hit like Boom Clap so we should buy and stream her songs all that we can so at least she can see that we are grateful for this monthly releases and that we are loyal to her (and I know that not everyone can buy a song on iTunes or whatever but, you know, you can stream it on Spotify), also, since Atlantic isn't going to do promo for her maybe we can ask radios to play her songs or whatever, I don't know, but just stop fucking complaining about everything.
 
And finally, c'mon gays, why are we being this mean after the confirmation of GNO getting an official release? Like, yeah, I also want new music from her but I've been wanting this song on my Spotify playlist for a year and she's releasing new music until november, can we just focus on what we're getting instead of asking for another songs? If we continue to do this she's gonna get tired, you know, this is annoying, so let's focus on the positive things like we're getting new music every month.

For a lot of people, the allegations were a good enough reason to not START listening to her music more than the few songs they probably knew.  
For others who stanned her hard before the allegations tho, a lot of them, including me, went through the "defend timothy" Stage, not because i 100% thought Melanie was evil, but because id do the same for any alleged victim.
But after the drama died down and we were able to rationally analyse the 'evidence' including a really good body language analysis video of Timothy talking about it, i think even us who did momentarily turn against Mel decided that it was too messy to make a decision- both sides not telling the absolute truth, and to just try and forget about it
 
I think the majority of people still hating Mel just hate her personally, not because of Timothys story.
